Typical Trump diversion. Your little graphic has no relation to Texas or Texas polls. Cristie and Trump have a lot in common...... Loud obnoxious Yankees who think they know what’s better for us than us Texans than we do. That dog don’t hunt around here.

There are a lot of bad push-polls out there, but it isn't unrealistic to believe that Cruz would do well in his home state. Everyone does (usually). What I want is for that result to be found in the other 49 states!

The Trumpet Army here at FR are a delusional lot.

Cruz is squishy on immigration.

Squishy? He seems to be pretty adamant about it. Here are 4 different Ted Cruz Facebook page posts in the last 44 hours, out of 11 posts total:

There is NOTHING compassionate about a bunch of politicians saying Im so compassionate Im going to give away your job to people coming here illegally. (in response to Kasich's debate comment)

If Republicans nominate a candidate who has embraced amnesty, it means we give up that issue in 2016.

if Republicans join Democrats as the party of amnesty, we will lose... the politics of it would be very, very different if a bunch of lawyers or bankers were crossing the Rio Grande, or if a bunch of people with journalism degrees were coming over and driving down the wages in the press (another debate quote)

I dont know about you, but Im tired of being called anti-immigrant because I want people to come here legally and to enforce the law:

He wasn’t so adamant in 2013.

Not really...

Trump is a bluedog dem. Changed to repub when Pelosi and co, ran off all the dogs..

In 2013, Trump attacked Romney as too tough on immigration.

Trump is not the be all-super man, that you apparently believe.

He inserted a poison pill amendment into the gang of 8 bill to prove they were not interested in anything but amnesty. They failed the test and voted against it.

The poison pill was to secure the border first.

“Cruz is VERY solid on actually ‘’’’requiring laws to be enforced’’’’ - and that includes ‘’’ALL current immigration laws’’’’...... That would include enforcing the requirements for H-1b visas to ONLY be allowed where there aren’t qualified American citizens available to fill needed positions - and that those hires must be paid the going wage for that position....Cruz said that if an employer abuses the H1b visa program they will be ‘’’prohibited from using it forever’’’’. PLUS, Cruz would require that companies pay MORE for each H-1b they hire, with the purpose that money go in block grants to states to pay ‘’’for training American citizens’’’’ in the very fields that have shortages. ....Thus the hires would actually help end the need for the H-1b program while creating excellent careers for citizens “

I will admit up front I don’t know a whole lot about H1-B visas. I can say though that I have several friends online and in the real world who work - did work - in IT. These are men and women who don’t need training, they are in their 50-60’s.

They have been laid off, displaced, by this program and have been unable to find work in their field or have to settle for salaries much lower than they were making. They are ending up working temporary positions, having to move states away, one driving trucks.

I don’t know about other professions but just in my opinion H1-B is a big scam for companies to get cheap labor and no amount of nice words about retraining, enforcing the law, penaties for employers fixs people loosing their homes and jobs under this program helps.

I don’t see it as a program to fix, I see it as a program to get rid off.

Again it’s the ‘abuse’ of the system that’s the problem..and without stopping that it’ll continue....

I have no faith in more laws when we already have laws that are not being enforced.

That's what we have because our society is fast becoming a lawless unenforceable society....political Correctness amplifies it.
