Trump is a Democrat. Never forget that.

Perhaps you are correct and he is perpetuating a ruse.

Or perhaps DT is a former Democrat just like Ronald Reagan, I, and other FReepers such as Jim Robinson.

While he remains a Republican candidate, your repeated FR posts about this matter lack convincing validity.

>> I don’t know why you think they are working together.

Oh, I don’t think that helping Ted Cruz is Trump’s intent.

Nevertheless, I think that when the dust settles, that will end up coming true.

Especially if a (gasp!) Higher Power than Donald Trump is pulling the strings. :-)

I’m praying for GOD’s favor upon Ted Cruz. Will you join me?

Leaning toward Marco Rubio. I think he’s electable and conservative. But, even though it’s really early, I’m questioning his ability to break out of the pack.

Or that he issued an EO that every schoolgirl in TX had to be injected with Gardasil. TX lawmakers had to block this order.

Do you know who I am?

>> Why did he even run? By the time he announced he had nothing new to offer.

Because he’s a POLITICIAN, that’s why.

While ordinary people like you and me were waiting patiently in the line for our allotment of Brains, he was over there in the crowd of soon-to-be politicians loudly clamoring for MORE EGO!!!

Fair enough, thanks.

My impression is that MR has been a GOPe fallback candidate in case JB falters (and JB is doing that right now) and that MR is a Party-line sort of candidate...business as usual while the customers are rushing to find someone else...anybody else.

Well I think you are wrong on two counts. Rubio isn’t even electable in FL his home state. Which is why he abandoned the senate seat he held to make this ill considered run for the presidency. He is not conservative unless liar = conservative.

He lied to the people of FL in order to get the senate seat. He turned his back on Tea Party conservatives who helped elect him and joined the gang of 8, got in bed with libs Chucky Schumer and Mark Zuckerberg, trashed all of conservatism on radio daily saying conservatives love amnesty. Any conservative who does those things is a back stabbing traitor. If Rubio can win without FL, he might be electable, but he’ll never be conservative and cannot be trusted no matter how many lying speeches he makes.

Toll roads...toll roads...toll roads, and our highway taxes paid for express lanes/toll roads on IH-635. Where did that effing stimulus money go? I-35 is a shovel ready project that’s 1500 miles long!

The honest truth is that for a GOP candidate there seems to be an impossibly fine line to walk.

You know the old Goebels quote, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.” If a conservative candidate says conservative things the media seizes on it and twist it as an example that the candidate is an idiot. They “keep repeating it” until the moderate electorate (who we MUST have to win) believes it.

But if we nominate somebody who never says anything controversial so as not to rile the MSM we end up with weak candidates like McCain and Romney.

IMO, what we need is someone who can walk that fine line.

You don’t pay attention to details.

And you have bypassed my response to you with a slam against me by posting a hyperlink that has little to do with what I posted to you.

Besides, my opinion differs from yours on the interpretation of the story you linked to me.

Otherwise, you're probably a fine FReeper.

There is no alternative conservative opinion on Planned Parenthood aside from its total destruction, yet Trump supports keeping it going.

You cannot read with comprehension if that is your take. You're reading into this NEWS REPORT what you want to see.

Your opinion may be the ONLY conservative opinion on this subject, in your opinion, but not all FReepers would agree with such a stance. I do not.
