We'll have to see how Trump tackles other issues.
It certainly was not bad to vault to the top on immigration, but he can't stay there on immigration alone. Soon, he will have to start enunciating a jobs policy, a tax policy, a spending policy, a banking policy, a manufacturing policy, an education policy, an environmental policy, a retirement policy, a health care reform policy.
We'll have to see how he weaves these together, while holding the other candidates to the same high bar. How does manufacturing clash with environment? How does education support jobs? What will spending look like, cuts and/or taxes? Would he disband or reduce agencies? Cut oppressive regulations? Release the hoard of ammunition back into general circulation? Cut social security retirement benefits or cut disability (fake unemployment) abuse? Repeal Obamacare and restore private risk-pool insurance policies? What about tort reform?
There are many more issues we need to hear about from all the candidates before we can rule anyone out. I believe that Trump's presence will force real discussion on these issues instead of the pablum we have been getting in the past. That's why people like Lindsey Graham say that Trump will blow up the GOP brand; it's because he won't allow them to get away with their phoney nonsense anymore. Their poll-tested responses won't stand up to Trump's responses, if the past is any indicator of the future.

Huffington compost.
No change so far with Verizon’s ownership of AOL.
I thought the headline was for Obama.
That’s a beautiful synopsis. Brief, accurate and all encompassing.
And that's the thing that drives Libs berserk; Trump can't be cowed by the admonitions of Libs. They're so use to having their house-GOP pets roll over on their backs at the slightest criticism. Trump instead latches onto their arm and gnaws it off. (And I'm loving' it.)
Everyone has had enough of the cookie cutter like Republican politicians, all saying the same things, all looking and sounding the same. At least Trump sounds willing to bust balls to get something done! Really - can he be any worse than Hillary or Obama?
Have you really taken a look at Ted Cruz?
This week Trump is “unelectable but significant”. Last week he was a fringe candidate whose support wouldn’t grow. The week before that he was a blowhard that would flame out. And the week before that he was an attention-getter who wouldn’t really file. (timing approximate)
I wonder what he’s going to be after the first debate?
The front-runner?
The think that really struck a chord with me was when Mr. Shaw spoke up at the LA press conference and said he’s a liberal and his liberal black buddies were calling him saying they really liked Trump.
If Trump stays in it look for him to siphon off a lot of Democrats who are disaffected with Wash.
Trump is going to appeal to Black voters who want to work and achieve, without a doubt. They don’t have any devotion to Hillary.
I think he is going to surprise a lot of the establishment with how well he does with all minorities. People appreciate success.
Yes I have. And I'd vote for him too. But to me, he sometimes doesn't sound to convincing about halting the illegal alien invasion. And I completely disagree with this "path to citizenship" nonsense. Deport all of them! This is the point that Trump and me and every other republican candidate are at odds over.
In addition I want legal immigration severely limited or even stopped along with the elimination of green cards, H1B visas, and cutting back on student visas. I don't hear any candidate talking about those things.
