I think he might've knocked Marco, Santorum, Huckabee and Rand out of the race with his bold announcement. Time will tell, of course, and the Paul family has a tradition of being perennial presidential political candidates, after all.

Ted Cruz Could Make It Difficult for Marco Rubio in 2016Yes, in much the same way that yards with pit bulls are "difficult" for weasels and other rodents.

OK, FRiend, I’ve scanned through the Ted Cruz headlines for weeks. I’m cool with it. He’s a conservative, he would be a good president.
But, come on. We’re kind of jumping the shark with this headline aren’t we?
Let’s just move on and agree that the dude has zero chance of being elected.
Let’s start looking for someone who’s supporters don’t have to post desperate shit like this.

He already has with his bold support of Ind Gov. Mike Pence and bold statement.
Scott Walker said that it’s not his state’s problem.
Weasel Walker, can’t be trusted.

Lets just move on and agree that the dude has zero chance of being elected.Nonsense. There's a chance, though not as big as his supporters wish.
I'm glad he's running. He will drag the candidates to the right and he is an eloquent salesman for conservative principles.

We've been hearing this crap for several election cycles and and every election cycle the GOP-E, and now you, have been wrong.
What was that saying??

As far as I can tell, you, my friend, are odd-man out.
To: keat
I don’t need to look for anyone else. I’m going with Cruz, because he’s an honest man who loves America and freedom.
I don’t give a damn about any of the other GOP shlubs.

True. Mr. Cruz is a brilliant graduate from Harvard who speaks clearly, thinks logically and debates to win. He will teach the entire country how politics should be: principled and faithful. I support him over Rubio.

It's "whose" not "who's". And Ted Cruz is far more ELECTABLE than Rubio EVER was! Ditto Rand, jebbie, and many others.
Just WHO are YOU supporting ?
To: keat
Why do you bother posting on Cruz threads? Typical.

With his fidelity to conservatism, his refusal to compromise, his refusal to pander to elements of the GOP-E, he is far more electable than Scott Walker.

Ted Cruz is a brilliant Reagan-like orator and has the charm and a lovely wife. Both are Harvard grads one in law the other from Harvard Business School. But above all he’s a true conservative who can connect to Reagan democrats. If we don’t back such folks whom do we have left?
To: SoConPubbie
Cruz is VERY electable and he isn't the "scary bogeyman", whom some have attempted to make him out to be.
Money cab buy a lot of ads; it can't buy our votes! It's up to us to get out there, on the ground, and convince others, face to face, that he is the best one to be the GOP nominee in '16 !
