This yahoo Matt Lewis thinks he should write all of Scott Walker’s lines for him. Like Zer0, Governor Scott Walker is out of step if he doesn’t have his teleprompter set up with the answers. Maybe Lewis wants Governor Walker to have a earpiece so he can whisper his words of wisdom in his ear.
What it comes down to, is that Matt Lewis should do his job as journalist and ask Zer0 such questions: “Are you a Christian?” “With your Communist mentor Marshall Davis in your youth, do you share his hatred of America?” “With Rev Jeremiah Wright saying such things as, We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon,” do you share his hatred of America? Matt Lewis might ask Zer0 more creative questions than mine. However, he wastes time asking Scott Walker questions that he should be asking the President. These are questions I want to know and, if a journalist is worth his salt, they had better get off the couch and do the job that journalist have the duty to do.
Set up a straw dog and then smash it to bits. His premise is quite flawed and there was nothing wrong with Walker's plain, honest, and no-nonsense answers. Those traits define him.
” why are Republicans still fighting the last war?”
Because they never actually fought it.
There were many answers that would have been better. My first choice:
“What possible connection could there be between my guess at one person’s religion and how I will do my job as President of the United States?”
Wishy-washy, Senator. Wishy-washy!
The evidence is, the President gets religion OK. It's just that it's the wrong religion! It's that JV religion!
Exactly - to both of you.
And, for that matter, neither do I or any other conservative voters.
Carry on, Scott.
Everyone in this picture has their right hand over the organ they intend to give to their country.
And repent and fess up to being a racist....
The press sure is chomping at the bit to ask “gotcha” questions to trip up republicans. I suppose the best answer would be “I don’t know. He doesn’t go to my chuch. But I read in the papers, or maybe it was Brian Williams who reported that he is. But if you’re not sure why not ask him directly?”
