Graham, who created a presidential exploratory committee last month as he mulls a 2016 bid, and traveled to Iowa this week, said he “doesn’t know” if he could win the Republican nomination, but that he’s “going to give it a try.”

“I’m trying to run a campaign, if I decide to run, that will focus on securing this nation,” Graham said. “I think I could create a pathway forward to straighten out the mess we’re in and we’ll see where that goes.”

IMHO, linda presidential efforts are designed to get votes and money for Jeb.

Sen. Lindsey Graham has “no doubt” that President Obama loves his country, refuting comments made by former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani earlier this week.

The simple, and also accurate response to Senator Graham is that America - look at the polls!!!! - has doubts that Obama loves his country. Excuse me, Mr. Graham, it doesn’t matter what you say. Much of America doubts. And America also, according to the polls, increasingly doubts that Obama is a Christian ... and increasingly believes that he is Muslim. This is not speculation. It is a quantifiable fact that much of America has these doubts.

This is a real problem, one could say that it is a crisis of confidence.

So, that means, very simply, that the ball is in Obama’s court. He could easily and definitively refute such doubts. He and his advisors look at the polls even more closely than we do. But will he put this to rest? He certainly is in no hurry.

What does all this mean?

The simple response is, again, that if Obama will not himself put the question to rest, he implicitly gives the rest of us his blessing to wonder about it, and him.

It is difficult to avoid drawing the conclusion that Obama wants to leave America to wonder and doubt. Why?

I will venture an answer: Only those who feel responsible to answer their fellows in regard to their doubts do, in fact, answer them. Those who do not believe that their fellows deserve an answer or, even, that they have fellows, or equals, will not answer.

Obama will not respond. I leave it to you, the reader, to draw your own conclusions.
