Our “say” is our votes in the primaries or caucuses, our shoe leather/volunteering and advocating for our candidates, our fundraising and our use of social media and whatnot. Do it.
Good point. After all, Obama isn't finished with his communist fundamental transformation of America. He has 2 more years yet.
Ted Cruz’ solitary fault, if it my be called that, is minimal experience as an executive. Had he been, at some time or another, a mayor or governor, it would have enhanced his resume enormously. There is little doubt as to his appeal, as a forthright and outspoken critic of the Current Occupant and the dangerous arc the territory once known as “the United States of America” has taken, and he is offering us a way to reclaim that territory.
As to the “natural born citizen” definition, it is sufficiently broad to take into account the fact that his mother, who is an undisputed “natural born citizen”, is a sufficiently strong base of support, and Senator Cruz’ claim is based on consanguinity. There is not, nor has there ever been, a requirement that BOTH parents be of American citizenship as of the time of the birth of the child.
There are millions who were physically born within the territorial lands of the United States of America, who should never have been given cover of “citizenship”.
“They tell us we are all citizens, that we were born in this country. Well, a cat can have kittens in the oven, but that doesn’t make them biscuits!”

When it comes to being a great debater, Ted Cruz would take Hillary to the wood shed.
Cruz graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs in 1992. While at Princeton, he competed for the American Whig-Cliosophic Societys Debate Panel and won the top speaker award at both the 1992 U.S. National Debating Championship and the 1992 North American Debating Championship. In 1992, he was named U.S. National Speaker of the Year and Team of the Year (with his debate partner, David Panton). Cruz was also a semi-finalist at the 1995 World Universities Debating Championship, making him Princetons highest-ranked debater at the championship. Princetons debate team later named their annual novice championship after Cruz.
To see him debate Hillary would be very entertaining...
Amen to that. It's going to be up to the Tea Party/Patriot folks to really take the ball on this if we're going to get conservatives to run and win. Not too early to start. I wish Cruz/Palin would come out now and say, "We're Running" and start a grassroots campaign, donations Now, early. . get a real ground game going. . especially if they announced on said day they were going to run together. . Like, "We're running, we're serious, Join Us!", etc. A lot of regular folks would donate. . A lot of ad ideas come to mind just thinking about it.
Can you imagine their cabinet? A true Dream Team. . sounds exciting to me.
Ted, Sarah, What do You think? I think you would be surprised at the level of support. The whole country is just sick of the last six years, especially this last year. You name the scandal, people are mad and totally fed up. The election was a true barometer. Just look at the red national map!
Our country is at stake. Please consider it! I can see rallies everywhere!
And no mention of Sarah Palin anywhere, even though she is the only one out there with proven moral values and executive experience, and is a brilliant debater?
Of the rest of them, I like Ted Cruz, but I think he belongs in congress, where he could do a lot of good.

I have already stated more than once that I will raise $2 million dollars for either Ted Cruz and/or Sarah Palin should they decide to run. I was able to raise just over $40,000 for Fred Thompson in the short time he was in the race.
Ted Cruz is literally too big for a single senate seat. He’s forgotten more about the constitution than any top leader of either party, most of the justices on the Supreme Court and most lawyers, not to mention the current occupant of the executive mansion will ever know.
Except that she would never agree to debate him. She’s not THAT stupid.
LOL!
Someday, MY fate, no doubt!
Wow, that's impressive. Run Ted, Run! Would Love to see a Ted/Hillary debate. That would be the most watched TV event ever!
I don't think they realize how much support they would get. The sleeping giant would be a tsunami!
There won’t be a Presidential election in 2016 - we won’t last that long (and I’m an optimist).
Rubio demonstrates a degree of flexible reasoning? We don’t need a Compromiser-in-Chief. And, he showed his lack of discernment when he joined the Gang of 8 amnesty band of thugs. He will never get that stink off his shoes.
Walker doesn’t communicate well. Have you heard Obama off-teleprompter?
Pence is too sociologically out of step with most Americans. What does that mean?

As for Hillary, the same factions that derailed her in 2008 are working to derail her in 2016, if she does decide to run.

My state GOP primary is so late in the spring that the nominee will already be determined weeks in advance. Thus, there is little reason to get too bent out of shape over the field of wannabes.
The only reason that the Romney/McCain/Christie/etc. grouping ever have a chance at the nomination is because the establishment knows that too many of us will go along with it and refuse to say No.
Start saying “No” and we’ll start getting better candidates.
If I remember correctly, Pence once said that he was a Christian first, a conservative second, and a Republican third.
That is definitely out of step with the Republican establishment, but it is music to my ears.
Pence is a fine gov here in Indiana.
Between the efforts of Mitch Daniels and Pence the legislature is now:
House 70-29 R
Senate 40-10 R
That’s results.
I lived in Wisconsin with Walker as governor. His enemies have done a lot of the communicating for him. He can win, and he can govern. He is also not the only more than barely acceptable choice on my list. The party that gave us Obama, Gore, Kerry, Clinton (43%, 49%), Mondale, Dukakis, McGovern and HHH, aren’t exactly with their less than ideal traits either. Walker has been able to partially turn that into a plus in a state that is not exactly known as being firebrand conservative like Texas or Louisiana are. A LOT of those guys on that list can certainly beat the likes of HRC and Warren, and the rest that WILL come about. There will be a minimum of three, more likely 4 or 5 credible Dem candidates. The simple possibility of HRC having a stroke she cannot hide being one of the causes of more entrants.
Bill Clinton would have a better chance at a third term than Barack 0bama.
