It's two years until the next presidential election. What say we get through mid-terms, first?

I'm really not happy with the pro-Romney crowd that seeks to start running him this early.

And they are, here on FR.

I like Ted Cruz, but you can’t dispute the fact that he has only little administration experience. He’s just destined for other things, such as Senate Majority leader.

I dont’ care. I’ve said it before about Cruz, how he’s great, but lacks a bit of the big time experience we took for granted when we elected OBama. And I refer to the collective ‘we’ - as in I didn’t vote for him.

Do you think a conservative can win in CA or NY or MA or MD?

Yes.

Has one been tried recently? That hasn't been attacked by the GOP-E?

You have no clue how much administrative experience he has, if you think a Solicitor General has no administrative experience.

He's got plenty.

He's argued more stuff to the Supremes than a lot of lawyers have.

Face it. You claimed that Romney was now electable, and Cruz wasn't.

Own it.

oh I do own it, gladly. I wouldn’t put it out there if I didn’t believe it so you have no ‘aha, I got you moment’. Romney near shoe-in, Cruz an also ran (at this point).

What states that Obama won will Hillary lose in 2016?

Romney will lose. I said it the last election, and got told I was supporting Obama.

Cruz can win, he's conservative.

It hasn't been tried by the GOP in a long, long time because of 'conventional wisdom' that keeps leading to failure.

I am talking about Presidential elections. I live in VA which has essentially become a blue state. In 2016 VA will be won by the Dems. Anyone who believes otherwise is delusional.

So Hillary will increase the electoral margin of victory.

I think Romney won, but democrats won the vote count. Lots of intimidation and documented voter fraud. Expect a lot more of it this go around.

I believe so. AR is almost a given, with Bill alive... maybe more with Bill dead.

If I was Bill, I'd get a food-taster until 2017.

Sour grapes.

If the Dems cheat, take that into account and build a buffer into it.

50% for an incumbent isn't going to win a race.

‘conventional wisdom’

I don’t think so. 2012 Romney was a sure failure, 2016 Romney is a shoe-in. Yes indeed, Cruz is a conservative, just not the right conservative for this coming cycle.

2016 Romney is a shoe-in.

No he's not, regardless of what you say.

I DAMN SURE won't vote for him, and I'll work hard to make sure others don't vote for that liberal baby-killing, gun grabbing bastard.

And if you are so sure of your predictions, predict some 2014 mid-term elections.

So Hillary will increase the electoral margin of victory.

Against any liberal republican, yes.

All bets are off, if she has to run against a conservative.

When you have a rush of hundreds of thousands of previously uninvolved people into electoral politics, you get a certain number of wackos, weirdos and witches.

That's exactly right. It takes time to sort things out. The Tea Party advanced far further, far faster than the Progtards ever dreamed of doing and it scares them to death. The amnesty bum rush is a direct result of that.

You are delusional. So what is the message of the “conservative” that will win elections?
