HONOLULU (AP) -- In a stunning defeat for an incumbent, Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie was unseated by a fellow Democrat in Saturday's primary election, as voters chose state Sen. David Ige as their nominee in one of two marquee races that have divided the party.

Abercrombie had tried to hold onto his seat while disgruntled voters turned their allegiance to Ige, who promised to bring a less confrontational political style. Voters rewarded Ige with a decisive victory....

Sounds like a hawaiian Dhimmicrat love fest to me. Don’t expect a different birth certificate from any of these rats.

In the late 50s my dad told me not to expect hawaiian statehood because there were, and I quote “to many pinkos there”. A year or 2 later both Hawaaii and Alaska got statehood on the same year. Thus the balance was preserved. So it goes.

You may recall that Abercrombie was the clown who dug up the Royal Idiot's
birth certificate ... or a reasonable facsimile thereof. I don't know how the Rats
could possibly dump someone that honest and intelligent. Therefore, I've
decided not to believe this article.

The governor was a close friend of Obama. The people of Hawaii threw him out of office because of this. I don’t think this is a good omen for Obama and the Democrats in the Fall. Anybody with an association to Obama is going to suffer at the polls. It will be a bloodbath in November.

It will NOT be a bloodbath because MANY, MANY, MANY on OUR side will sit at home because some of our nominees are not PURE enough, even though they are 1000% BETTER than any Democrat!!! We could even lose the House because of this, and we will NOT win the Senate because of the PURISTS on our side.

It is time for the “purists” to stand apart from the GOPe and encourage the GOPe to switch parties and become the Dem’s that they always were. The dark muddles the light and folks can’t see any real differences.

Attaining purity isn’t hard. Just support the traditional Republican Party platform, as dozens of past Republican greats have.

But, people who disparage party purity most certainly have their own few non-negotiables as well.

We have too many republicans who are Harry Reids and Pelosi’s in Republican party clothing. They are liberal in mind set who think they are smarter than the average conservative and who think they can “mind warp” and hood wink “dumb” conservatives into supporting “smart middle of the road” policies which were really considered hard core leftist just 10 years ago. Look at the Republicans that leftist media support in their primaries(which then turn around and support the Dem in the generals)? Tells you all you need to know about the state of the Republican party.

Amercrombie was CRUSHED by Ige 67.4%-31.5%, when was the last time, if ever, an incumbent Governor lost that bad in a primary? What did that poor hippie do wrong? The Republican Duke Aiona leads the 3-way general election in the polls.

The only comparable poor performance I can think of comes from Louisiana’s party switching (D to R) Governor Buddy Roemer, who placed third in the 1991 jungle (all party) primary with 26.5%, that doesn’t really count since it wasn’t a party primary, he got 41.5% of the votes cast for GOP candidates to RINO David Duke’s 49.68%.

In the Senate race the Haole (White) appointed incumbent Schatz, in defiance of polls which show him losing, is clinging to lead of 1800 votes over Congresswoman Hanabusa, 2 precincts in the State (on the big Island) had the election canceled because the weather caused road damage or something, they will vote at an unspecified later date. Republicans do not have a serious Senate candidate, just ex State Rep. and perennial candidate Cam Cavasso. It would be a treat to see the incumbent Senator also go down to defeat (has that happened? Gov and Senator lose the primary?) but I hope that Haole bastard hangs on to flare racial tensions among Hawaii rats.

State Rep. Mark Takai wins the rat nomination in CD-1, faces Republican Ex-Rep Charles Djou.

In CD-2 (Gabbard) we have no chance, but I hated to see Republicans renominate former homeless bum, smoker’s rights activist, pro-Hawaii independence (I’m for it too for the sole reason of getting rid of 2 rat Senators but it’s not something that you want to see a HI Republican campaign on), and generally weird dude, Kawika Crowley, who won by 14 points over a real candidate. Just like I hated to see Republicans in IL-9 nominate some lady who says gays are the cause of hurricanes or some such nonsense.

Who are the purists? I’d say it’s the entrenched politicians who do anything to prevent the election of anyone not in lockstep withe lobbyists in DC. They have used every means possible from costing us seats to racist tactics to redistricting out conservatives allowing more democrat seats.

Wonder if it was Abercrombie or the Feds responsible for Hawaii Health Director Loretta Fuddy’s demise.

He does, and he’s financially competitive. He should be a lock for 45%-47% of the vote but getting those last few % points is hard.

Cook political report rates the race “Likely D”, everyone else calls it safe D but I think that’s foolish on their part.

Kawika Crowley actually got the nickname “The Smoking Guy” added to his name on the ballot; Tulsi Gabbard should follow suit and add to her name the appellation “The Smoking Hot Chick.”
