All in all - pretty funny.
If he had the right room number, then one might suspect something else was the cause.
He did retire... back in 1999. He should’ve stayed retired.
Errrrr, um... Hail Hydra, wait, this isn't the secret meeting...
a typical Washington Walmartian.
Maybe he was on Ambien like Patrick Kennedy...
The Boston talk show host said the clip got lost in the radio upheaval of the ownership change, and relocation of the studio to a broom closet in a different park of the city...
The again one of my [former] senators couldn't remember what half of Congress he was supposed to be in...
Ah, “Patches”.
And these clowns think they’re underpaid?
“asked the wrong witness a fairly long question that had nothing to do with the hearing”
This just goes to demonstrate how useless these hearings and congress critters have become. They don’t know or care where they’re at. They blindly read a statement or question that some idiot staffer writes for them and the witnesses read a stupid statement or answer back. It’s like watching dinner theater rehearsals with everyone reading from the same script.
Epic!!!
Can we pls do IQ tests for people running for office and set a minimum?
No, you might make Guam tip over don’tchaknow.
Coats will always be a good guy in my book.
He got rid of Evan Bayh.
That still makes my heart sing.
Did the witness answer the question???
Maybe that’s the only way to get your questions answered — ask them at the wrong hearing.
Right room number...generally appropriate witness...
It’s funny, and will be used against him, but not too far out of line.
Except you’ve got it backwards. When then-Gov. Bayh decided to run for the Senate in ‘98, Coats chickened out and all but handed the seat to him (with a scummy RINO liberal Paul Helmke as the sacrificial lamb). That he should’ve been rewarded with his old seat after Bayh hung it up was appalling.
That was priceless. . .
