If the GOPe Were Smart They Would Beg Gov. Palin to Come Back Into the Room
A Time For Choosing ^ | November 17, 2012 | Stacy Drake

But this is the “stupid party” we’re talking about, so I won’t hold my breath.

In the wake of the disastrous 2012 election results, there has been a lot of discussion on the right regarding the GOP’s apparent “message” problem. Much of the conversations has focused on immigration issues as a way to bring in new voters. Recently, Charles Krauthammer wrote:

’ve always been of the “enforcement first” school, with the subsequent promise of legalization. I still think it’s the better policy. But many Hispanics fear that there will be nothing beyond enforcement. So, promise amnesty right up front. Secure the border with guaranteed legalization to follow on the day the four border-state governors affirm that illegal immigration has slowed to a trickle.

Imagine Marco Rubio advancing such a policy on the road to 2016. It would transform the landscape. He’d win the Hispanic vote. Yes, win it. A problem fixable with a single policy initiative is not structural. It is solvable.

It’s going to take much more than that to solve the current issues the GOP has with voters. You can’t pander to one racial demographic and think that will solve all of your problems. The predicament that they find themselves in goes much deeper than a single issue, and it’s based primarily on trust. According to an election night survey released by Breitbart News, Judicial Watch, and Public Opinion Strategies:

Voters’ responses suggest that the American public agrees with conservative policies–but does not trust the Republican Party to implement them....

It will never happen. The GOP was part of her being put out. The GOP elite is run by people set on being like the Democrats.

Why is it that Sarah Palin is always waiting for someone to invite her to do something?

She doesn’t want to run for president, but she wants to be drafted.

If Sarah Palin wants inside the GOP room, she should stand up make a case for it.

Hispanics won’t vote for a Hispanic Republican Senator in any realistic numbers (figure no more than thirty percent max). Now, if you came up with an Asian guy....they are more prone to the business side of life and believe more in the American dream, and more likely to vote for a Republican (maybe 75 percent).

Where exactly do you find an Asian Republican candidate?

Or maybe the plan ought to be to find a 50-percent Hispanic, 50-percent Asian, 50-percent disabled, 50-percent female (transsexual) Republican candidate?

Just as they did with Newt Gingrich, the communists in the state controlled “media” have totally destroyed Gov. Palin. Their communist masters at the DNC gave them their marching orders for destruction and they did their job well. I hate the “media”. All of it. The majority of people living in this country these days are nothing but low I.Q., gullible morons. If it’s on TV or “da intanet”, IT MUST BE TRUE. “Ahh. Bon jour.”

I think some of her family memebers do not like the spotlight and do not want to be subjected to the character assasination that would ensue.
Unfortunately, the msm suffers no real consequences for it’s current behavior. It can, and will, protect Obama while gleefully destroying a decent challenger.
I see comments on Freerepublic claiming the msm has lost it’s influence, but I’m not seeing any real eveidence of that. The msm were the king makers of this last election.

I don’t know if she could win or not but I LOVE the look on the GOPe’s face when we bring her up.

Conservatives are fooling themselves about Palin.

As much as I like her, outside of social conservative circles, she is universally considered an idiot. No amount of arguing will change that unfortunate fact, either.

I’m not the biggest Sarah Palin fan but I think anyone who looks at things honestly has to say this. 2010 was a Sarah Palin victory, she worked for it, she backed candidates and she revved up the base. The result was a landslide. Sarah Palin completely stayed out of the 2012 cycle and the result was a massive defeat. Is it as simple as Sarah Palin? No. Can she make a difference absolutely. If you don’t’ believe it then let her form a 3rd party and see how many elections the GOP wins.

see 2010. I think you’re full of it. She put herself out there, she backed a ton of candidates and traveled the countries promoting her agenda. The result was a landslide victory. It’s quite possible she simply doesn’t want to run for the Presidency

"If the GOPe Were Smart They Would Beg Gov. Palin to Come Back Into the Room"

And if Gov. Palin were smart, she would avoid the GOP all together. They trashed her, and left her hanging in the wind. They're finished. Through. Too busy doing the "me too," "compassionate conservative" song and dance in order to stay in the country club. They are on a course to completely sell out. Mark my words, the Repubs will soon be making noise about "reasonable gun control" by the start of the new year.

Rubio will not get the Hispanic vote, simply because he's not Mexican. Everybody mistakenly believes Hispanics are one big happy conglomerate. Truth is the Mexicans hate the Guatemalans, who hate the Salvadorans. Everybody South of the Rio Grande can't stand the Argentines because they're snooty. But, everybody, EVERYBODY dislikes the Puerto Ricans.
