Noonan: "Tea Party Style Of Rage Is Not One That Wins Over Converts"
RCP Video ^ | 11-11-2012

(snip) “It can move forward things in a good way. I think the tea party is going to have to look at itself,” Noonan added. “It’s been so helpful to the Republican Party in the past. It saved it by not going third party in 2010, helping the Republicans sweep the House. But the tea party style of rage is not one that wins over converts and makes people lean towards them and say, ‘I want to listen to you.’ I think a friendly persuasion has to begin now from the Republican Party to people of the United States.”

Ms. Noonan at it again. I challenge her to name the tea party members she personally is familiar with.

Tea party's success in 2010 didn't yield a stiffening of backbones of our 'GOPe and leaders'.

I didn't see we have success with moderates of 2012, can she elaborate more on the 'friendly persuasion to people of the United States', please????!!??!?!

The so-called “RAGE” I have is whenever others try to blame tea party for their own failure.

This is just a result of the constant media/liberal effort to demonize the Tea Party...and it is working well.

I don’t get where rage comes in. Rage is what you see on the left. They get lots of converts with rage.

Shaddup Peggy, you are the problem because you are stupid.

There is no rage. We’ve been saying in a calm but firm voice that the nation is bankrupt.

Those on the dole don’t want to believe it. Statists don’t want anyone to know.

But we are broke and there is nothing wrong with pointing it out.

She just won’t go quietly into that good night, will she?

Give it up, Pegs. You are irrelevant.

Noonan is not the result of the effort to demonize, she is part of the effort to demonize. IOW, she's a cause - heck, this piece is a cause. She "assumes" rage exists, therefore the tea party is a group of raging people.

If TEA Party members really had this “rage,” they would have kicked Boehner’s butt out of the Speaker’s chair by now.

Noonan is a legend in her own mind.

Oh, but Demorat “rage” works sooo much better...

In this new era of entitlements...

We’re entitled to our rage!

Hey Peggy! Didn’t Mitt more-or-less run his campaign by the Marquis of Queensbury Rules? Where did that get him when Obama & his proxys repeatedly hit him below the rhetorical belt with false and outrageaous claims?

Nice guys finish last Peggy!

Peggy Noonan is a card carrying moron who peed all over herself when Obama was elected the first time around. She doesn’t get it that we don’t have four more years. We will be in an economic collapse in 12 - 18 mos and civil war.

Rage?

You know, when I looked at Mitt Romney, all I saw was rage. Seething, dripping rage. Even when Mitt was being such a nice guy in the debates, so nice a guy in fact that he did finish last, and Obama was being a petualnt little bitch of a child, all I saw was our rage.

Peggy, STFU, see you at the Apocalypse.

Let's see - 2010, Tea Party rules, massive gains for the GOP in the House and Senate.

2012, RINOs in charge, defeated by a weak incumbent, Senate losses, minor House gains.

But to Noonan, the problem obviously is the Tea Party.

There must be something in the DC water supply that eats away the part of the brain responsible for logic and cognitive reasoning.

If Prissy Peggy equates rage with the Tea Party, she’s clueless about the Tea Party movement. I’ve never seen rage; only intelligent discussions and speakers, and well-thought-out rational decisions. It’s really the opposide of “rage”.

She’s a whack job with a major stick up her ass.
