Sarah Palin Concerned Romney and the GOP Elite Don’t Have the Guts to Fight
A Time For Choosing ^ | May 21, 2012 | Gary P. Jackson

Posted on 05/22/2012 3:32:49 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Appearing on Monday’s Hannity, Sarah Palin minced no words by saying nothing was “off the table” when it comes to vetting Barack Obama.

There was a group that wanted to revisit Obama’s past associations, including Reverend Jeremiah Wright, the radical Marxist preacher whose church Obama sat in for 20 years, and now claims was pressured to stay quiet about Obama.

Mitt Romney, Speaker of the House John Boehner, and many other GOP establishment leaders have chastised those who would talk about Wright. Never mind the democrats are already raising money off this issue.

As Sarah notes, nothing can be left off the table. Everything must be fair game. The democrats certainly show no such restraint. With democrats, the candidates, the candidates children, friends, supporters, and so on are fair game. Barack Obama has used his Chicago thug political tactics successfully for years. The only way to beat a guy like this is to go all in.

No one is going to respect Romney or the GOP because they “played nice.” There are no extra points for playing nice. We are at war for the very existence of America, and we need tough, strong leadership that doesn’t flinch in battle.

It’s noted that Sarah wasn’t happy when McCain campaign manager Steve Schmidt stopped her from vetting Obama in 2008. Not satisfied with McCain’s defective campaign team, this is when Sarah says she went rogue.

In case you missed it, Stacy Drake covered a Hannity special that featured Stephen K Bannon talking about the failures of the McCain campaign and how Sarah was angry at their weaknesses.

Sean starts out talking about Mayor Cory Booker’s condemnation of Obama, and his subsequent attempts to walk it back. He and Sarah also talk about the teacher in North Carolina who has a heated argument with a student, who asked a question about Obama, after the teacher was trashing Mitt Romney. The teacher claims people went to jail for saying bad things about Bush.

As readers know, that’s not true. In fact Hollywood made fantasy movies about killing President Bush, using actual archival footage of Bush. None of this group went to jail, or were even talked to by Secret Service. They did however win some industry awards.

Sarah says she hopes this teacher, who is currently on paid suspension, isn’t tenured. I wonder why and how people like this ever get hired. Also why teachers are allowed tenure, making them essentially impossible to fire, in the first place.

A lot of topics discussed in this interview.

Sarah says she is going to once again focus on sending Conservatives to the House and Senate this fall. Though she doesn’t mention Romney by name, she says she will help the nominee beat Obama. Once again saying “anybody but Obama.”

She’s paid well north of a million dollars a year to “kibitz” as you put it. Anyone paying you anything for your expert opinion?

The right guy to fill the shoes of the attack dog for romney is newt. He’s also the perfect insider guy for congressional liaison work. He also has a few ideas for how to improve the government. He’s also adult enough to be president if need be.

I’ll be nominated for vice president by Milt before Newt Gingrich will, and you know it.

This is our takeaway: when the cannons are positioned and balls brought up, that’s when we must be there to scorch and burn.

We’ll know when it’s time.

Romney would have done her the way he did Newt...She made the smart play. She’s doing the best job for her right now...building our bench. That’s part of the reason we have the misfits we get...no bench.

I’d certainly prefer to be sharing a foxhole with Palin over any of those “GOP elites” like Romney/Rove and such. Wouldn’t have to worry about getting a bayonet in the back in the middle of the night.

People are actually of the mindset that desired result of Romney`s nomination is victory in November. Do we really think it`s anything beyond luring just enough moderates to hold the House and maybe have a shot at breaking even in the Senate?

Why else would Mittens shred every GOP challenger, then cover up and go uber-soft vs. Obama?

Sarah is Right.

She has been more than just once or twice, I've noticed.

That was my first thought also.

Plus, I think that the Republican candidates need to look to the Clinton playbook.... “It’s the economy stupid.”

Let the Rush Limbaughs, Sean Hannitys, Sarah Palins and Mark Levins go after Obama on the these other issues.

We won in 2010 because of the message of jobs, the economy and massive growing debt.

“The “GOP Elite”

The Going On Progressive party is just one face of the republicrat oligarchy party ruling America.

Considering the two assclowns McCain and Romney the GOP forced upon us shows that they do not represent the average American anymore than the communist demoncraps.

I believe Sarah realizes that in order for a conservative to win POTUS (post Reagan), such a conservative will have to build up an infrastructure outside the GOPE network. 2012 was just too early considering how the battlefield was shaping up.

Reagan, who was on the crap list for supporting Goldwater in 1964, first ran for POTUS in 1968 and learned some hard lessons (not to mention the bitter fight in 1976). From 1968 to 1980, Reagan had to build up a coalition of sufficient gravitas to challenge the party leadership in an attempt to win by inertia, tactics and perseverance. Reagan did this in an era of a pre-cable, pre-internet, unfriendly MSM, GOP stonewalling, no tea party, no social media, no Fox News, no national talk radio, and on a slim budget. On its merits, a spectacular feat.

Post-Reagan, the GOPE decided that Reagan was a “fluke” never to happen again and systematically changed the standards/rules on POTUS elections (not to mention their influence on House/Senate races). Primaries got altered, delegates got changed, barriers were placed and a wall of “right wing intelligentsia” provided a buffer zone to push down insurgent candidates while puffing up establishment favorites. This is how we got Bush41, Dole, Bush43, and McCain. The “next in line” became the mantra and the standard. Anyone not in the clique (who wouldn’t sell out) got carpet bombed. It’s worked for 20 years and the GOPE has no intentions of changing.

Palin, or anyone of her conservative credentials who wishes to challenge the GOPE, must follow the Reagan model. How does one do this? Watch was is going on within the Tea Party and the internet. Sarah, and a host of conservative groups, are slowing picking off the establishment and changing the climate within the GOP structure.

Think of the victories in 2010. A big first strike by a small band of rebels. The Empire stuck back with a battle axe but the movement adapts, changes and grows.

Mourdock? A fluke to the GOPE.
Fischer? Hmmmmm, just bad luck to the GOPE
Missouri? Hmmmmmm, Steelman might pull it off.
Montana? Hey Tester might get the boot!
Texas? Ohhhh noooooze. Cruze might win!

Walker wins with a groundswell of inside and OUTSIDE support? Oh crap...someone is flexing their muscle!!!!

American Majority, Freedom Works, AFP, TPX, TPP, and the people attending the rallies have transformed themselves into precinct walkers and callers. Oh my, the GOPE has taken notice....better get on top of this and co-opted them. Yeah, right.

Talk radio, Facebook and Twitter acting as rally points? Gosh, the GOPE can’t seem to swat all those pesky flies!!!

Slowly, surely, the Tea Party rebels are changing the climate. Precinct by precinct, county by county, state rep by state rep, the GOP infrastructure gets challenged, changed and put on notice. In time, the political climate changes to where a conservative can have equal footing and marshal an army of support. What they don’t have in money (yet) they make up in ground game (ie: Deb Fischer’s win).

When the cards are right, the magic will commence. You’re already seeing a few glimpses already.

Ohhhh, the usual suspects (GOPE, MSM, and DNC) will have their “temper tantrums” and pull out the same old schtick, but the game is up. The rank-and-file sees this stuff for what it is.....BULLCRAP!!!

So to my GOPE, DNC and MSM enemies: Sleep tight, drink a warm glass of milk, have visions of sugar plumps dancing in your heads. Santa Sarah will be visiting your town soon! Merry Elections you miserable establishment beotches!!!!

Amazing isn't it how after her whole career of public service, and these four years of withstanding vicious personal assaults by psychopaths, Sarah Palin still evokes infantile panic reactions from the been-nowhere/done-nothing jerkwater contingent.

Just amazing.
