Titans clash: Bill Clinton vs. Sarah Palin in California
The Politico ^ | October 1, 2010 | Jonathan Allen

The studio execs in nearby Hollywood couldn't have produced a better opening scene for Election 2010: Bill Clinton and Sarah Palin — two of the titans of their parties — will barnstorm through Orange County, Calif., on consecutive days in mid-October.

The former president is headlining an event for Democratic Rep. Loretta Sanchez on Oct. 15, POLITICO has learned. Sanchez, who supported Clinton's wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, in the 2008 Democratic presidential primary, is locked in a tough re-election battle against Republican Van Tran in the 47th District.

Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, will be in Anaheim the following day, raising money for the Republican National Committee, which has had difficulty stockpiling cash for GOP ground operations around the country.

The criss-crossing of two of the nation's biggest political celebrities appears to be a matter of pure coincidence, but it promises to provide compelling optics for both parties — and for cable television...

This is hilarious, Slick Willie is in California rubbing elbows with all the rich and famous, limousine liberals while Backyard Barry is in somebody’s backyard somewhere chokin’ down weenies.

And then private citizen Sarah, just being herself, takes the country by storm.

I like eating hots dogs in someones backyard. Why would any red blooded American disagree. My preference is to go Kosher with my hot dogs because they answer to a higher authority.

Title anything "Clash of the Titans" and what follows is likely to be a let-down ...

That includes movies ...

Both of them ...

Release the Kraken anyway ...

One can only imagine — if one dare — the kind of thoughts that go through Bill Clinton’s carnal mind when he conjures up images of Sarah Palin. I would love to see those two debate. All Sarah would have to do is flash him a wink, and he’d have to excuse himself from the room.

Any conservative that gives money to the RNC should have their head examined.

The Titans will be clashing tomorrow in Nashville, with the Broncos, but I don’t think Clinton or Palin will be there.

I have similar feelings towards him, but we need to be careful about writing his influence off. People who give him credit for "Clinton's economy" will be hard to win over if we dismiss him with insults rather than have our answers ready.

The RNC? Oh, great! /s

Too bad she isn't raising money for conservatives.

Umm..what planet have you been on?
And where have u been when she raised plenty of money for conservatives? Unless you wish to tell us that people like Michelle Bachmann (who Palin raised close to $500,00 for)are not conservatives?

That is a scary picture. All of them are dead but three. Are they in Heaven playing this game? They certainly can’t be on Earth...it would be impossible. It is a very confusing picture that is not even possible.
