WASHINGTON (CNN) – Virginia gubernatorial candidate Bob McDonnell will deliver Saturday's weekly Republican radio address, the Republican National Committee confirmed Tuesday.

The address — usually delivered by a Republican member of Congress or sitting governor — will cap off a week that has thrust the Virginia race in the national spotlight.
