Ms Daniels says that she is running in response to an internet campaign called Draft Stormy that she claims has got people even more excited than viewers of her hit films Space Nuts and Taken. Whatever the outcome, her decision to thrust her 36-inch chest into Louisiana politics is dragging Mr Vitters 2007 prostitution scandal back into the limelight.
He ran for the Senate on a family values, anti-sex education platform, Ms Daniels told The Times. And hes caught with prostitutes. Thats hypocritical. Call me what you will, but you cant call me a hypocrite.

Well, ya, you can’t call her a hypocrite. Because someone with no values will ever fall short of their values.
How many people would vote for a pornography star? It’s not exactly the best experience to be in Washington doing the important work of government. This is good for wisecracks on comedy and satire shows, but will she really get significant support?
To: Clintonfatigued
It’s hypocritical for this former Porn Star to say “My past sexual contact doesn’t matter in this race..but Senator Vitter’s 1 One infadelity does”, easily defeated!

How many people would vote for a pornography star? Washington is already full of whores, one porn star won't make much difference. She probably has higher moral standards than a typical Kennedy.

In fact, it could be reasonably argued that her morals are a better example than most congresscritters' because (a) she didn't hide what she did and (b) she wasn't trying to f*** the taxpayers.

Here’s my logic. Vote her in and put next to Sen Al Franken. The senate has become a comedy of errors...so lets just go all the way. In fact...after watching some of these guys in interviews...without much knowledge of anything...she might be a breathe of fresh air. Finally, they’d have to put her onto some committees...and we might actually get real questions asked.
To: Mr. K
...congress is full of whores already, you want to judge her for her occupation???

why should vitter loose just for visiting a prostitute?????
Ted Kennedy was responsible for driving a car that took the life of a young lady, and he continues to serve...
Robert Byrd was an active member of the KKK, he still serves or sleeps which ever...
and many many more have ‘sins’ on them selves in Congress and they serve, I'm not going to fault Mr. Vitter, seems his marriage has survived...there are many more important thing to be concerned about...

Wow. I guess there’s no shame in perverting your very existence as a human being in front of a camera for a living, but there is if you allow your weaknesses to overcome you.
What incredible hypocrisy.

It's time our party cleans house of the Rinos and those who can't control themselves. We're not asking for people to be perfect, just respectful of the job we are entrusting them with. Republican politicians must understand they will be held accountable to the voter and that we are not like liberals. We believe people can be decent and moral. If a person can't be trusted to behave, how can we trust them with our freedom and everything else they have power over. The liberals (and the media) don't care about cheating, lying, stealing.....they have no standards, but we should. If you lack self-control don't apply, join the dems where deviance is accepted and even applauded. Don't have personal convictions? Join the dems. I know this sounds harsh but if you can't keep your pants on or help a girl you drove off a bridge while drunk, or can't pay your taxes or keep your boyfriend from running a male prostitution ring out of your house,, don't apply for the job. And if you do screw up we will get rid of you.

I hope some really good Conservative runs and runs that Vitter out of town. He made a mockery out of marriage and needs to go. It stuns me that some FREEPERS still support him. It would be sorta interesting for the governor to run again Vitter. I would vote for him in a heartbeat.
To: JSDude1
One infedility? Not to defend Ms. Daniels, but Vitter has had a number of appointments with the brothel in question, and they weren’t for “vanilla” sex, either.

"Robert Byrd was an active member of the KKK..."Speaking of that... Robert Byrd is very grey and old in his famous KKK photo- just exactly how old was he when he 'repudiated' his association with the KKK. In this photo he does not look much younger than he is now

Good point. That hissy fit Vitter had at the airport over something that regular people deal with spoke of his sense of entitlement.

I think a porn star was elected to something in Italy.
This flake hasn’t chosen her party yet. It she runs as an independent that could help Republicans (ironically help Vitter if he is renominated) in the general election, remember there are no more GE runoffs for federal elections.
