The Tennessean reports that three more Tennessee Republicans are demanding President Barack Obama show them his birth certificate and other vital documents to prove he’s an American.
Tennessee Reps. Eric Swafford, Stacey Campfield, Glen Casada and Frank Nicely have all agreed to be plaintiffs in future legal action from a Russian immigrant in California who has challenged whether Obama meets constitutional criteria to be president. Advertisement
The lawsuit from the Defend Our Freedoms Foundation, which has not yet been filed, will be among several court challenges to Obama’s citizenship.
Tennessee Republican Reps. Stacey Campfield (R-18th), Glen Casada (R-63rd) and Frank Nicely (R-17th) join their party colleague Rep. Eric Swafford who became the first state Representaitve in the nation seeking a writ of mandamus.
Not an all-together unreasonable request...seeing as the One regards it as his mission to place my kids even further in hock....

Given the way he’s trying to exterminate the GOP for good, the republicans should be asking this question too.

Why did they start so late? But, I must say, better late than never.
I would suppose that these people who appeared to be gutless before the election are looking at how badly Obama is screwing up and now they are growing a set. It’s about time.

Last time I was in Michigan was the day that Russia put Sputnik in orbit. I was driving a Buick Dynaflow in a snow blizzard on my way to go hunting. I believe that it was also the day that they opened the Saginaw bridge. A cop stops us and sees the rifles on the back seat. His only comment was: “You boys be careful, OK?”
Man, oh man, what a country we had at one time. (Sniff)
Michigan is still one of the more gun friendly states. Obviously times have changed but still cling bitterly to our bible and rifle.
Still clinging to the Bible and rifle: THAT is one consolation. :)

This will be the ticket to de-throne Obama. If enough Republicans feel that this president is truly damaging our country way beyond what anyone ever expected, then this just may get traction. This is a legal, constitutional issue. No one can cry racist or sore loser if they play their cards right. It may take some time, but it may work out in our favor in the end. Thank goodness for the Tennessee Republicans.

There were several lawsuits (12 I think)during the campaign requesting Barry’s birth certificate. The issue was whether to move forward since he hadn’t been elected (ha-ha).
Out of the 12 Phil Berg’s may be the only active case.
Phillip Berg, attorney and democrat from Pennsylvania filed a case questioning Barry’s citizenship. It went to the Supreme Court days before the inauguration to no avail. It’s easy to find specifics by googling Berg’s name. I think he’s filed another appeal.
