First, Obama's fellow Daley machine hack, Rod Blagojevich, tried to sell Obama's Senate seat. Obama's Chief of Staff, Rahm Emmanuel, discussed the future of the Senate seat with Blagojevich. Obama has since "cleared himself" of any wrongdoing.

Then, Obama's advisor, Caroline Kennedy, tried to steal a Senate seat in New York, citing royal prerogative.

Now, Obama's Commerce Secretary nominee, Bill Richardson, has withdrawn his nomination, amid speculation that he will be indicted for corruption.

All this, and Obama hasn't even been sworn in!

My fear is that Obama’s first attempt at establishing an administration will consist of Clinton retreads, and echoes back to Camelot (gag!). When these first attempts fall through, Obama may pick lesser known people who have fewer ties to existing figures of corruption — but who may be 100% radical communists in ideology. Such people might not normally sail on through, but with enough “nominee fatigue”. people might just say, “So, he’s a comunist, so what? At least he’s not from Chicago.”

Well over in the Senate I think Kyl can show some spine. He went over to the dark side once with his support of Illegal Alien Amnesty, but I believe I thought his intentions were good - he conceded that it was going to happen one way or another, so he wanted to be involved and influence it in a positive way. In the end we defeated the amnesty bill, fortunately. BUT amnesty will be back and McCain will assist, bless his heart. Here's hoping Kyl has nothing to do with it.
