The incoming administration is reviewing President Bush's executive orders on stem cell research, oil and gas drilling, and other matters, President-elect Barack Obama's transition chief said on Sunday.
John Podesta said the idea is that a president can use such orders to move quickly without waiting for Congress to act.
"I'm not going to preview decisions that he has yet to make. But I would say that as a candidate, Senator Obama said that he wanted all the Bush executive orders reviewed, and decide which ones should be kept, and which ones should be repealed, and which ones should be amended. And that process is going on. It's been undertaken," Podesta said in an appearance on FOX News Sunday.

Wait until Sandy Berger shows up...
There must be a close watch kept on all EOs from the Obama Administration.
I don’t recall executive orders ever being reversed. I’m sure there have been, but I can’t think of any. It’s a theoretical courtesy to past presidents to leave EO’s alone.
But, as you all must surely know by now...the Obamessiah can’t be held to the conventions of the merely mortal. His Vision is much more clear and his Wisdom much greater than any that has come before him.
He will mould the world into the socialist paradise that he wants it to be. And, that will start by removing impediments to his work...
Now...drink your Kool-Aid...
Oh...yeah...(sarc off, now).
