Disenfranchised Already (w/video at link)

On Sunday I decided that I was going to take advantage of the in person absentee voting option available to me in the great state of Wisconsin. This afternoon, after much soul searching, I cast a vote for McCain/Palin.

I decided to do this because I really didn’t want to risk waiting in line for hours on end on Election Day as I did in the primaries. Or be forced to watch a performance by My Vote Performs.

Beyond that, however, was my desire to avoid having someone else vote in my name. A real concern in the City of Milwaukee. And City of Milwaukee, be warned: you may have tried to intentionally loose absentee ballots in 2004, but I will know if you don’t count mine or not. I wrote myself in for one office (take that Gwen Moore) and you damn well better believe that I will be looking at the official final tallies to ensure that my vote was counted.

Until two weeks I was convinced that I would vote for Ron Paul. And then things started to get fuzzy. I started reading about Bill Ayers. I read The Audacity of Hope, Dreams From My Father, The Obama Nation and I watched Indoctrinate U. But, more importantly, I watched as my net worth – already down heavily this year — fell by nearly $100,000 over that same period of time.

As a result I got mad. I got mad as hell. And then, just as I was about at my breaking point Andrew Wilkow played a piece of audio that Mike Church dug up of Barney Frank from a 2003 hearing of the House Financial Committee. (Skip to approximatly. 4:40 in the video below.)

After that, I was done. I still don’t care for McCain and it pains me to have lost the ability to vote for Ron Paul but there is no damn way that I will sit back and allow my country to be run by the likes of Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama without a fight.

So, off I went to vote over lunch on Monday. Happy to do my civic duty but sad at what I was about to do. Imagine my surprise when I saw a line of people waiting to vote (again?) happily chatting up their friends administering the absentee ballots, openly discussing their love of Obama and even distributing yard signs to their poll worker friends.

It was absolutely disgusting. And my call to complain to the election commission did little more than fall on deaf ears. So, thank you State of Wisconsin. You have managed to disenfranchise me already. I will not forget.

At the risk of sounding race-pissed,
I despise the entire lot of the frauds - BHusseinO and ALL his radical, marxist, socialist, islam-facist associates.

Pull out all the stops and expose BHusseinO for what he really is!

Associations MATTER!

Nope, doesn't surprise me in the least.

I thought only Ron Raul supporters were that nuts!

Go figure?

Thanks for taking that step. I understand how difficult it was/is but in this case the issue is too important, it is the only issue, Country First. If this country goes to Obama I can't see that there will ever be a chance to actually make the changes that should be done: limiting what the federal government can do, and taking away much of the power from the federal level and moving it to the states. Under Obama and his backers we will become a socialist nation rather than just have some socialist policies.
