I need ballot help from the Washington State Forum. Would any of you mind moving the discussion to this thread so that I can get a handle on the candidates? This impressive video is Randy Neatherlin running for Representative District No. 35 Position No. 2.

CHARLES WILLIAMS SUPERIOR COURT JUDGE POSITION. NO. 3

Appears to emphasize “justice” over “rule of law” which to me, makes him an activist judge.
CAROL MURPHY SUPERIOR COURT JUDGE POSITION NO. 3

Another “fairness” over “rule of law” judge. Help???
TABOR has the Olympian’s endorsement. Questionable.
ED HOLM does not make decisions until he takes off the blindfold. Not my pick at all.
However this years winner for the nuttiest candidate is a Democrat running for Governor. Christian Pierre Joubert
HERE IS PART OF HIS CANDIDATE STATEMENT:
Because I feel Washington State should be leading the Nation in promoting a Spiritual Civilization based on holistic medicine, alternative energy, affordable housing, relevant education, a dynamic economy, bio-diversity, world development and meaningful access to justice, I respectfully propose my FUNDAMENTAL FREEDOMS PLAN OF ACTION.
FREEDOM FROM EXCESSIVE MORTGAGES, DEBTS AND HOMELESSNESS: Thanks to compassionate solidarity and eco-construction technology (strawbale, wood, clay), a sound family house can be built for under 45,000 dollars.
(Note: his website includes making houses out of Hemp Bricks. Now that would give a whole new reson to go see a house fire)
FREEDOM FROM HUNGER, DESERTS AND WORLD MISERY: Thanks to ethical trade, the doubling of exports, tree planting, vineyards, organic agriculture, health restaurants and the distribution of superfoods (including but not limited to amazing dopamine-producing raw vegan chocolate mousses), we would find solutions to world hunger and deserts would flower.
FREEDOM FROM INJUSTICE AND TYRANNY. With massive restructuring and financing of our legal system; the building of human rights and duties enlightenment centers in each town; the enactment of public expense for modest-income parties who have non-frivolous civil and administrative cases, including for electoral candidates, Washingtonians would be empowered and this State would become a lighthouse for the International Community.
ONLINE VOTERS GUIDE (mostly useless)

WHERE OH WHERE is the candidate scorecard for judges?
WHERE OH WHERE is the voter review literature?
[... KVI Radio’s Kirby Wilber often post election recommendations on the KVII web site...]
http://www.kvi.com/onair/kirby
Are you ready for the August 19th Primary Election?
If not ... maybe Kirby’s recommendations for Judge Positions will help:
State Supreme Court
POS 3: Michael Bond
POS 4: Charles Johnson (I disagree. Beecher is better)
King County Superior Court
Pos 1, 10, 26, 37: {no recommendation}
Pos 22: Julia Garrett
Pos 53: Ann Danielli
Kitsap County Superior Court
Pos 1: Bruce Danielson
Snohomish County
Pos 8: David Hulburt
Sounds like Joubert is a graduate of Evergreen’s
“Moonbat” Institute for terminally bleeding hearts.
Thanks. That is what I have been looking for. We should all send that list out to Washington voters we know. I know I will.
The only relevant questions for judges should be, “Do you support restorative justice?” Any judge or prosecutor that answers in the affirmative should not get your vote.
I’ve been trying to enlighten our local Republicans and the Rossi campaign to the Gregoire spending on all her special advisory committees. Gregoire has extra-legislative (as in outside the legislature)committees and quasi-judicial committees for every single subject that you can think of. They are sometimes staffed by full time state employees, others have only a single full time paid staff person, but they all have large budgets. These committees are made up of all the special interest groups that helped get Gregoire elected, plus some of her friends and former staff from her previous state positions. What Gregoire has done is create a shadow government that advises the legislators on legislation and appointed quasi-judicial committees to enforce those laws, and put them all on the state payroll.
To give you an idea of the scope of these advisory committees, she even has one on plumbing.

Recommendations on Non-Partisan Positions
State Supreme Court Justice #3: Michael Bond
“Second, a judge should clearly understand the difference between serving as judge and serving as legislator. The judge’s job is to apply the law and Constitution as written and not as she or he wants it to be. The legislator’s job is to write the law, which usually represents a compromise of competing factions. The judge should not take it upon herself or himself to re-write the laws or re-adjust the compromise. And if the people have spoken directly by initiative or referendum, then the judge should be especially vigilant to preserve the people’s will.” Quote from Michael Bond....See Website
Website: www.bondforjustice.com
State Supreme Court Justice #4: Charles Johnson
Queen Gregoire needs to be indicted for at least
one of her illegal SHEnanigans. The rest will
reveal itself. I understand there are a lot of
people in her posse covering for her. “Ffollowing
the money” will expose corruption.
Thanks for the recommendations.

Residents of the 25th District we have a great candidate running against incumbent Jim Kastama (D). She is Michele Smith who has worked many years in Olympia as a legislative aide. She knows the workings of Olympia and will be a great asset to the people of the 25th district. Please visit her web site www.electmichelesmith.com
Sidenote: My mailman tells me that he is seeing Rossi signs on homes that he knows to be democrat.
I’m hoping Darcy gets her rump bumped again.
As far as guv, I don’t know if Dino can pull it off.
But maybe if the Dems keep showing the “don’t know Dino” commercials sixty seven times in a row like they have been lately, it’ll backfire on them.
But if he comes out ahead, the Dims will just recount. You know that old deal, if we have a hundred Dims upstairs pounding on typewriters, they’ll eventually get Fraudoire re-elected. That sort of thing. Maybe it was monkeys. Maybe it was Shakespeare. You know what I mean.
Got completely lost yesterday looking for a
neighborhood park in Olympia where they were
holding a memorial service for a neighbor.
Anyway... Rossi signs EVERYWHERE!!! WOO! HOO!
This time around, I propose no othe county certify their vote counts until after King County does. Make them first so they don’t have as much of a chance to “discover” misplaced ballots ........ again.
pING FOR LATER
