Billary gave an impassioned speech in Boca Raton Florida in attempts to gain delegates in both Florida and Michigan.

In her speech she states that her campaign’s struggle to succeed at this task is similar to the ending slavery. Clinton goes on to say: that it is also similar to “fighting racial discrimination at the ballot box” she stated.

“This work to extend the franchise to all of our citizens is a core mission of the modern Democratic Party” Clinton adds.

Let’s rewind to 2000 when Condoleezza Rice spoke at the Republican National Convention shall we? Rice recalls: “The first Republican that I knew was my father John Rice. And he is still the Republican I admire most. My father joined our party because the Democrats in Jim Crow Alabama of 1952 would no register him to vote. The Republicans did”.

There are several other women senators. Obama will likely choose one of them, keeping the women's vote, and losing the baggage. My suggestion, Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas, hardworking moderate, no baggage, attractive, and if he announces here the morning after the final primary, along with polls that suggest Hilary has enormous negatives and Blanche high positives. Hilary goes away, unimportant, in early June.

Here is the deal - the women’s vote is in play. Sen. McCain could do worse than wait until the Obama vice president choice has been made, and then choose Nancy Kassebaum or Sen Hutchinson. A woman conservative on the ticket is a big help.

Yes, she can. The thing is, she thinks it’s Martha Wash singing “Strike It Up”.
