It's probably no secret to anyone who reads my column regularly that I will not be voting for either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton for president.
But I also will not be voting for John McCain.
I could tell you all the reasons and have expressed them already in a number of columns in recent months. But this time, I'll let someone with whom I seldom agree express them for me.
His name is Jonathan Chait, a senior editor at The New Republic. Here's what he wrote in that magazine:
"Even though it is in the public record, McCain's voting behavior during Bush's first term is almost never mentioned in the press anymore. Yet McCain's secret history is simply astonishing. It is no exaggeration to say that, during this crucial period, McCain was the most effective advocate of the Democratic agenda in Washington.

These reasons and more are why I will not vote in the general election, for what the Republicrat Party has once again tried to force down my throat.
Yeah yeah yeah, I want Obama, Hillary, the destruction of the United States (too late it's already done), yada yada yada. I can and will say when it's all over with that I had nothing whatsoever to do with whoever is in charge. I'm going to vote for a conservative for President. Whether the Ratlight party wants to give me one to vote for or not. This is America and I can do that.
Give me a candidate I can vote for. No more holding my nose.
Have fun

Cute. There are several more people that have been here longer, a lot longer than I that are not voting for that backstabbing POS with an “R” after his name.

You know, if the Libertarian Party wants to become a major political player in this country, here is their chance.
Right now, you have a LOT of marginalized, disaffected conservatives out there. While one could make the case that “Well, Bob Barr might splinter the right the way Perot did in ‘92”, and I can certainly envision that, this is still a golden opportunity for them.
If the Libertarians want to be known as something more substantial than a “pot should be legal” party and make some actual geniune noise, now is the time.

So I guess you were not happy when you voted in the democratic congress. Now you want to go for the hat trick. Grow up! The other candidates are far worse. Politics is holding your nose and voting for the least of the worst. There is more at stake this election than your narcissistic wet dreams.
We lost two excellent Republicans (conservative) from congress in Pennsylvania last election. It was immature and self-centered people like you that made it happen.
Since you are only a member since 2007 I find it ironic that you feel free to speak for other patriotic freepers.

Patriotic FReepers? All (I believe) FReepers love our nation. We do not all, nor should we all love the GOLP or Grand Old Liberal Party.
Last I checked, this was NOT Free RepublicAN.

You have a very interesting posting history here. It seems your only goal in all of your posts is to make sure the current Republican candidates lose and the Democrats win. You cannot deny you posting history. I am convinced now that you are a DU troll.

You are either a good liar or a bad idiot. “All” my posts are not about Republican candidates. A good number are about Juanito McBackstabber. A few others are to be found on the Religious threads. Yet more can be found on Youtube and Music Dedication threads on the weekends. “All” my posts? I’m going to go with “good liar.”
“You cannot deny you(r) posting history.”
I wouldn’t think of it
“I am convinced now that you are a DU troll.”
And I am convinced that you are a lazy person, leaping to this idiotic conclusion in order to end debate/conversation.

This is what the McCainiac posters are reduced to because their candidate is such a loser.
Calling other conservatives DU Trolls, obsessive, Democratic plants, et al.
But be of good cheer, this is usually the signal that they have no ammunition left and are simply trying to shut down discussion by labeling you in a dishonest manner.

Funny coming from you. You entire posting history since your sign up in 2007 is anti-McCain. Conservatives are not for McCain, they are against Obama. Your entire posting
history after scrolling a couple pages of your posts is to convince Repulicans not to vote this election. Now why would a newbie like yourself want Obama to win the election?
