McCain in '08, He's Way Less Liberal than Obama!

I was taking a look at USA Today this morning at breakfast. It had a front page article about the Reagan Revolution on the bench. That was the top layer of the article at any rate. Thinly veiled, just below, was the message, "Do you really trust a Republican to appoint any more judges when your rights are at risk?" I guess that's pretty run of the mill journalism, but we'll get a lot of it in the coming months. John Hinderacker is predicting that this year will actually be even worse than what we've gotten used to. Hard to imagine, but where there's a will there's a way.

I think we are about to witness a level of partisanship in the "mainstream" media that has not been seen since the era of professional news media began a little over a century ago. In the past, when newspapers like the Times have misreported facts, people have generally assumed it was, even if the result of bias, inadvertent. No longer. We have entered an era in which leading news organs will intentionally and persistently misinform their readers in order to achieve a political objective--the election of Barack Obama. (Powerline) This is not something that I plan to follow closely because I like my blood pressure right where it is thank you very much. But I'm filing it in the back of my brain so that I don't take the inevitable onslaught against McCain too seriously.

And just for the record, yes I'll be voting for him. He sure isn't perfect, but there are a number of issues in the cookie jar which I don't want Barrack Obama getting his hands on (judges, feckless Chamberlainism vis-a-vis Iran). McCain in '08, He's Way Less Liberal than Obama!

I hope Senator McCain sees it too . If he does not want to play hardball , he should say he has decided to spend some time with his family or some such crap .

****This is not something that I plan to follow closely because I like my blood pressure right where it is thank you very much. But I’m filing it in the back of my brain so that I don’t take the inevitable onslaught against McCain too seriously. ****

It’s probably a good thing that most Republicans who plan to vote for Sen. McCain are only luke-warm. That way - they will not hyperventilate when the media does its filthy work on behalf of the Marxist Socialists. Just imagine if the GOP candidate was beloved and perfect - we would die of a thousand cuts - every hour on the hour.

Support McCain - it won’t kill you, figuratively or literally;)

Osama Osama is on record as wanting to give driver's licenses to illegal aliens. McCain, on the other hand, is only on record as to want to include gang bangers and drug dealers in on the next round of amnesty.

Here are the Senators who voted against the Cornyn amendment , which would have established a permanent bar for gang members, terrorists, and other criminals looking to snag a shamnesty visa. Republicans underlined:

ACU ratings, Lifetime/2008:

John McCain: 83/80

Barack Obama (a.k.a Obamie the Commie): 8/8

I think that's enough to demolish this nonsense about McCain being some kind of ultraliberal who is no better than a Democrat. McCain, the war hero vs. Obama, the disciple of America-haters Jeremiah Wright, Wm. Ayers, and Michelle Obama.

Sounds to me like Communist Party USA thinks Obama is the man who will deliver the 'bloodless revolution'.

The Communist Party USA (CPUSA):
"We are a party of unity in action. We are an integral part of every struggle and movement for change to eliminate poverty and joblessness, against racism and for full equality. We are participants, initiators and leaders of every movement to make life better now and much better in a socialist future." Yeah, so they supported an oppressive dictator, like the Repubs and Democrats haven't? The CP is still around, has apologized for that whole Stalin thing, and has a quickly growing youth section.

It might kill a few million babies that may be otherwise spared in places like Texas and Florida in the aftermath of the overruling of Roe.
