Why not? We’ve decided biology doesn’t exist any longer either and by God, doctors can engineer a penis on a woman and “milk” from men’s breasts.

British Electrical Engineer Roger Shawyer first introduced the “Impossible Drive.”

And it's every bit as good as the Impossible Burger.

I’ve read about this. it is very interesting, but comments from other scientist say it lacks proof and pier review.

We live in a “Make $hit Up World” anyway. Might as well go all out.

Same old, same old.

Assuming it's not outright fabrication (i.e. lying) for fame or funding, I guarantee that the following is true in some form:

The experiments/tests that indicated massless propulsion were inaccurate. Period.
Maybe it was measurement error, procedural error, neglecting to take into account the entirety of the operational system (you might "win" in one part but you "lose" in another), rounding error, etc.

At best, an honest mistake.

At worst, a scam.

Nobody "defies the laws of physics", at least not on Earth, and as far as we can tell, anywhere else.

So sorry, play again....

Doesn’t sound like that NASA electrostatics scientist Buhler.

Regardless, I trust Popular Mechanics for all things science. Almost as much as I trust Scientific American./sarc

Producing thrust without releasing propellant doesn’t defy the laws of physic. It does defy the way we do things, but that’s because we got addicted to rockets. But let’s not forget that they are 13th century technology, there are options.
