“”wheel feel of a Boeing 737””
Not much proof reading going on, I guess.
My thought as well.
Agree. Of late I have come to believe there are a lot more committed (active) communists and other subversives in this country than I ever imagined.
I’ll fly an Airbus thank you very much!
That is a common thread with all of the incidents, since the MCAS incidents, that everybody seems to ignore while Boeing bashing..
Time for some humor!!!! Old laughs coming up:
Pilots and Mechanic Humor
Pilots Vs Maintenance Engineers After every flight, pilots fill out a form, called a “gripe sheet” which tells mechanics about problems with the aircraft. The mechanics correct the problems; document their repairs on the form, and then pilots review the gripe sheets before the next flight.
Never let it be said that ground crews lack a sense of humor. Here are some actual maintenance complaints submitted by pilots (marked with a P) and the solutions recorded (marked with an S) by maintenance engineers.
P: Left inside main tire almost needs replacement. S: Almost replaced left inside main tire.
P: Test flight OK, except auto-land very rough. S: Auto-land not installed on this aircraft.
P: Something loose in cockpit. S: Something tightened in cockpit.
P: Dead bugs on windshield. S: Live bugs on back-order.
P: Autopilot in altitude-hold mode produces a 200 feet per minute descent. S: Cannot reproduce problem on ground.
P: Evidence of leak on right main landing gear. S: Evidence removed.
P: #2 Propeller seeping prop fluid S: #2 Propeller seepage normal – #1 #3 and #4 propellers lack normal seepage
P: DME volume unbelievably loud. S: DME volume set to more believable level.
P: Friction locks cause throttle levers to stick. S: That’s what they’re for
P: IFF inoperative. S: IFF always inoperative in OFF mode.
P: Suspected crack in windshield. S: Suspect you’re right.
P: Number 3 engine missing. S: Engine found on right wing after brief search.
P: Aircraft handles funny. S: Aircraft warned to straighten up, fly right, and be serious.
P: Target radar hums. S: Reprogrammed target radar with lyrics
P: Mouse in cockpit. S: Cat installed.
And the best one for last.
P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer. S: Took hammer away from midget.

Better check out “fly by wire”......
Maintenance problem.
Again.
This time on an actual Third-world airline, as opposed to United which seems to aspire to being a Third-world airline.
You don't want to experience the above under any circumstances... that whole 'prepare for a crash landing' is so creepy.
I watched the video of the plane landing. That had to have induced some hard-left yaw. Great job by the pilot keeping the load off the left wheel until the last second, then controlling the aircraft.
30 years ago, saying you blew a tranny while drag-racing was an innocent statement about mechanical failure during a contest of speed.
“BOEING !”
That’s the sound when a wheel falls off and hits the ground.
Interesting that the major (fatal) incidents so far are with foreign carriers in or above foreign countries.
Then Boeing’s terrible leadership turned it from a company focused on quality and safety to one focused on financial bullshit.
companies can be infested just like any other body, club, government, church, family, etc.
no accidents in the march of evil.
Yes!!! Why waste the fuel just circling?
Saw the video too. I agree some good piloting skills in the landing. But still, the 737’s design robustness needs to be recognized as a factor also.
So on takeoff it either clipped a runway marker light or one of the approach light towers.
Those darn unsafe 737s!
SOONER OR LATER-—
MAINTENANCE PERFORMED BY THE AIRLINES THEMSELVES HAS TO COME INTO QUESTION.
BEING FORCED TO HIRE PERSONS NOT SUITABLE FOR THE JOB HAS SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES.
