there's such a thing as the "Cheese belt"....which runs along Wisconsin thur other northern states such as New york State and Vermont...something about the climate in those areas produce better milk, better cheese...
Cougar Gold from WSU is one of the best sharp cheeses ever made....so is Vermont sharp cheese, and NYS has great sharp white cheese as well....
when we were kids we'd go up to Ontario, Canada to fish and stayed in a small cabin, sans br facilities....to get there you went down a road that passed a small little cheese factory.....
long story short, Boars'head now buys cheese from that little cheese factory....Balderson Cheese...Wegmans carries it if you have one near you....

Butter, no way, Duke’s mayonnaise. Spead it on one side of the bread, grill it, then assemble the sandwich with the cheese between the grilled slices, Spread Duke’s on the outer slices and grill again. Mmmmm, Mmmmm

I can’t eat a hamburger without Swiss cheese, yellow mustard and freshly ground black pepper. Grilled onions is another nice touch. ;)

Apparently, you like a ton of oil on your grilled sandwich.

Again, try it. It’s very good and the mayonnaise cooks well and crisp

I not a fan of mayo on anything, so I won’t be trying that.
