Three of the ppl killed were security contractors, not volunteers helping to feed the hungry. So who was paying them?
In Pallywood, there’s always more to the story ...
“Three of the ppl killed were security contractors, not volunteers helping to feed the hungry.”
The best advice any security people could give to those gooders would have been, “be somewhere else.”
So you blindly believe the story coming out about how heartless Israel is gunning down totally innocent “aid workers” in Gaza? FFS, where are your critical thinking skills? Anything connected to Hamas is suspect and needs to be evaluated thoroughly by unbiased authorities. The media doesn’t count, and if you haven’t learned that yet, I feel sorry for you.
I have news for you, security contractors are used by many if not most NGOs working in high risk areas. These contractors worked for Solace Global. There’s nothing sinister about it-in fact World kitchen operated in gaza with the explicit consent of the Israeli govt and even worked to feed the IDF in the aftermath of Oct, 7. Netanyahu’s profuse apologies underscore that this was a case of innocents killed. The overall headline is neither side are angels and neither Israelis nor Palestinians are going to know peace, feel secure in their future or live normal lives for a long time to come.
If they were knowingly providing cover for Hamas, then they got exactly what they deserved. And if they were unwitting accomplices, then they paid the price for being stupid.
It’s a Friedrich Schiller quote. If it offends let’s try a new one…
Pictures don’t mean much anymore, what with AI.
I haven’t seen the pics of WCK feeding October 7 survivors.
Just find it odd you would mock Christians. Guess we are the only ones left to make fun of with our worshiping God and all.
Being an aid worker in a war zone is not just a dangerous occupation, it can also be deadly as it is a war zone.
Israel is in serious trouble.
The demographics are shifting in the West and today you have a large Muslim and Arab population, which votes.
Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt carry substantial political clout in DC and are frankly economically more important to us than Israel.
Unlike Russia and their allies who we mass censor, the Muslim and Arab voice has a huge representation in the media world, even the western MSM, and they know how to play the victim / outrage, game.
Finally, the Muslim and Arab demographic is extremely fervent and assertive, homogenous and organized. Policy/action which gets their interest will be met with potential social unrest, internal security issues, loud protests... The policy makers in the West take that into consideration.
Forget the merits of any argument i.e. promises made (we don’t really care about past agreements or even treaties, they are irrelevant), who really started this, who is willing to compromise, which party is a democracy etc. You need to look at it purely from the perspective of today and on which side we have the greatest benefit and political gain.
Today, the US is already beginning to abandon Israel. Something which would have been unthinkable 40 years ago.
Just as I suspected.🙄
