“Public” (state-owned) transit is certainly “waiting in the rain” in Ireland given how much rain they get. How much do you know about Ireland’s weather?

And since there are no cross-city motorways in Dublin, the only alternative is local streets, e.g. the N7/M7, which funnels straight into the two-lane streets of Inchicore. The city also has a speed limit of 30 km/h (18.6 mph) and several suspension-wrecking speed bumps.

Someone might. I recall in the early 80s visiting Weston Airport (a small airport about ten miles west of Dublin) and someone there owning a Buick Regal that was either ’74 or ’75; and it’s possible that when wealth rose in that country, more people had the means to do things like that.

I confess I’m more of a fan of the coupe-style Chevelle (1968-72).
