Bet he’s got ancestors, like Lavor Burton and Sunny Holton who owned slaves.
Both were shocked that it was revealed on that ancestry show on PBS that there were “whities in their closets”.
Image how shocked they will be to pay reparations!

I was going to ask the same question. I never watched the show - not interested, but the blacks I worked with loved it. I think Smollett’s antics was the beginning of the end. IIRC, the ratings were good ???

Not only that but he was extremely difficult to work with on the set. It’s too bad, I really thought Howard was a better fit as #2 Iron Man than Cheadle, and that’s saying something because Cheadle is an outstanding actor.
