You said Catherine would be regent. You dont know that.
What you do know is the next Adult person in line for the Throne is Harry and then Andrew. That is the order for the Regents.
I suspect Parliament would never let that happen but all you can say is what the law is now and that Means Harry and then Andrew.

I highly doubt that William would, if hew hasn't done so already, place Harry THE Henpecked, over Catherine.

What was William supposed to be arrested for? Killing Kingston?

Prince William can say who he wants as Regent but until Parliament votes on an Act it doesnt matter. Parliament does NOT HAVE TO AGREE WITH WILLIAM.

The inquest does not state Kingston died from a gunshot wound
it says trauma to the head and a gun laying beside him.
Even if there is a gun beside him and it was a gunshot wound in his head it does not mean he pulled the trigger nor does the fact that the door was locked prove without a shadow of a doubt that he did it.
It is most likely suicide but you don’t know that yet.
Catherine can become regent if necessary. The people of the UK will never let Harry and Meghan anywhere near the throne. But unless there’s a tragedy, it will be a long time before George becomes King.

I agree with everything you said but it is important to note that it is NOT automatic as the poster stated.
Parliament may deem at the time they don’t want Catherine as Regent and would rather have someone that is in line for the throne. If Not Harry or the next in line Andrew then it would be one of Andrew’s children and so on.
Imagine a scenario where Prince William became King as a Minor. Would Parliament let Diana be Regent??? Doubt it.

I think it would have been allowed if he still had Frogmore cottage but he has got no home there now. However, a lot of rumors going around that he wants to establish a home there.
Say for example that he divorces Markle. I don’t see that marriage lasting. He comes back to England.
No way should he EVER be allowed to be Regent but Parliament might soften towards him if he came back without Markle.
And like Markle purportedly said, one plane crash away from King Harry...even after you get King George if he dies with no children and charlotte has no children and louis had no children. that is why they need to not all travel together.
Catherine isn’t hated by the people of the UK. Harry is. The Markle fans are some of the scariest people on the internet. They’re desperate for William and his kids to die so Meghan can become queen.
King Charles amended the members of the Counselors of State. Harry can’t be removed but Charles fixed it so he can never be called upon to represent the King in case he is ill.

btw, it is possible that a Kingston death could be a gun cleaning accident but I find that highly unlikely given the circumstances.
It seems more plausible he committed suicide and did it in the locked outbuilding so police wouldn’t think he was murdered. Also not doing it at home because of his wife. Still , there were other places he could have done it than at his elderly parents home.
Prince William could be feeling some guilt as will others if it was suicide. Common among survivors of someone who killed themselves.
