I hope that manager winds up in jail for a very long time.
Forced?
Attempted murder.
Odd that he would force them to do it, unless of course he was trying to make a point... I am wondering if some of these kids had contaminated the mix prior and he was trying to show them what happens.
UNDERSTAND, EVEN IF THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED I DON’T CONDONE IT... but I am hard pressed to understand why someone would intentionally do this... this is about the only reason I can come up with.
Seems like Biden must be involved somehow.
I’m pretty sure this would violate the Labor Code her in CA. And another thing “…whether or not they liked it.” Begs the question how many liked it
Forced?
....
I read that as “if you want to continue to work here
then eat some of this tainted ice cream”. However it
is finalized it want be good for the manager or Dairy
Queen. jmo
Anyway... "After the fair trial", or something like that.
The owner of the place where I spent my 3 months in the food service industry would have done something like that. It incentivized me to study hard and get a job doing anything else.
I think I ate at a location like that once … only once
My first thought. But he should not have required them to eat the contaminated ice cream.
Maybe the employees didn’t clean the ice cream machine properly so the stuper-visor thought this was a good consequence to “teach them a lesson.” DQ needs to brace for a big lawsuit.
If there was ever a “good time to be insubordinate” this is one of those times. The kids should have said “You first!”
That sounds like the peer pressure which often happens in cults.
I think you’re right, that someone didn’t clean the machine properly and left some sterilizer in it. Back when I worked in fast food, 50-some years ago, the manager would have found out who did it and made sure that person never did it again, possibly by administering physical therapy behind the carwash next door. This DQ manager really screwed up, and will pay for it.
Presumably black perp(s)...
Manager not identified, Yogi . . .
Reminds me of the fast food employees who were “forced” to disrobe by a caller
Oh no sounds like DQ might be in for a big ole ugly lawsuit. Attempted murder anyone?
