On such history. Do you remember the early months of the invasion?
Remember that huge Russian tank column that had very nearly reached Kiev and then it mysteriously stopped? Wasn’t it odd why it stopped then suddenly withdrew?
Recall all the hypothesis:
Ran out if gas
Bought cheap Chinese tires that all went flat (my personal haha favorite)
Ukr special forces on ATVs decimated it with hit and run attacks
Mud
Fear
….on and on.
Well on Carlsons interview Piton made it all clear. The Ukr gov started negotiating for peace. So they halted. They might have had it won then halted to give peace a chance. Zelenskyy used subterfuge to stall Russia to prepare defenses during negotiations, there was no chance of an easy victory afterwards so Russia retreated.
Now to show I’m not a “Putin Puppet” I searched the dates these things happened:
2022
Feb 12–Russian invades
Feb 23–After peace talks Russia agrees to retreat forces by this date
Feb ?—-talks stall
Feb 28–Russian armored column advances on Kiev
March 7–column stalls, 35 miles long of strength , 30 km from Kiev
Unknown dates—-Boris Johnson secretly meets with Zelensky to push war?
Unknown March to April date— Russia and Ukr again agree to end war?
April 3–all Russian forces of the Column are withdrawn

I have no proof this is how things transpired but it’s the best theory supported by evidence I have.
Russia had no legitimate reason for invading Ukraine in the first place. The only peace talks would of been for the surrender of Ukraine. Putin has made it clear that he wants to bring back the borders of the old USSR. He is a bald faced liar and not to be trusted and since when is Aljazeera trusted on this board. I have never hears of the sources you have mentioned. I think you had better look at the facts again.
