I feel cheated that they don't tell which types of music they argued about.
And Ynysddu is a real place in Wales.

I thought these things only happened at wakes over there. Or is only Irish wakes?
Now I COULD see this happening in Chicago.

Perfectly justified if they were playing (c)rap “music”.
To: nickcarraway
Maybe the perp was a fan of Manic Street Preachers, and the host decided to play Goldie Lookin’ Chain.

“He came out into the street with a six to seven-inch bread knife and shouted at Mrs Cochrane, ‘I’m going to f****** kill Shane and you.’
I feel the same way about most Contemporary Chritian Music (CCM).

I think he wanted Nickelback, and they wanted Super Furry Animals.

Now I COULD see this happening in ChicagoI have news for you - they don't use bread knives in Chicago.
I can't abide mean drunks. But if the host was playing Taylor Swift, maybe he was justified.

I haven’t heard of them in a long time. I assume they still haven’t found their member who disappeared? Still have sightings in Goa or Bangkok?

What about Stereophonics? Or Catatonia?

I hear “I Did It My Way” is a great generator of violence if it is not sung to everyone’s drunken standards.

Parties work best when they play both kinds of music - Country AND Western.

They happen in the UK and Ireland. LOTS of drink at the pub.
They still also allow the casket to be with the families at home (at least that was the case with a friend of mine).
And we saw the casket descend into the ground where we threw dirt on it.
Very different from funerals here (in my experience).
