That poor child - and so many others like her.
My heart hurts for the young girls in situations like that and I have nothing but contempt for the vermin who prey upon them. The thought of those lecherous monsters makes my skin crawl.
“Does any of this absolve Russia? No.”
Worldtraveler-once-upon-a-time finally gets it correct! LOL
Thanks for the PM.
Guess all is explained :)
So wrote UMCRevMom to GLeeAikin (note the use of capital letters....) Indeed I got it correct. But not just the excerpt, which is how those who would prevaricate operate. I got the whole paragraph correct.
"Does any of this absolve Russia? No. But it does paint non-NATO Ukraine is a light less favorable into which the Biden-McConnell-Schumer team want to pour more -- what's that word? -- MONEY. "Isn't it interesting how people play with words? Of all the mental modules ( Project Zero/Harvard & Howard Gardner as references ) the mental domain most easily adapted to lying is language.
One method of prevarication is to excerpt in an attempt to blur the larger meaning. And "laughing out loud" is so 'high school.' As depending on a religious title, as did Reverend Erin Gullickson, is sometimes be less that proof of truth telling. For example, as posted to FR only this morning:
McLean County pastor convicted of stealing from church, faces up to 10 years in prison Bismarck Tribune, 1 February 2024."After Gullickson was charged Bishop Craig Schweitzer of the ELCA's Western North Dakota Synod suspended her from her pastoral duties with pay. The synod council later removed Gullickson from its roster of pastors, according to Schweitzer."
>Isn’t it interesting how people play with words?

Zeepers will purposely put words in someone’s mouth, or twist what someone has said, or misinterpret what someone said. Confusion is their objective.
You’re right about the use of acronyms, emojis, signs and symbols. IMHO, they’re used by high school girls and old women attempting to be cute or with it.
BTW, Is Gullickson a male or a female? The article refers to it as a she, but the person in the mugshot could be a he.
A woman. Moreover, as a reverend in the ELCA for some years, it is without a doubt that she quoted scripture on a weekly basis. This suggests something....

Pastor Erin Gullickson and I are continuing our journey....
While the Facebook posts still exists, the referenced PDF is noted as "File is in owner's trash." Seems that conviction on felony embezzlement kind of sullied a reverend's reverence....
And it was defintely "reverend." One finds: "Instructor Erin Gullickson has been teaching mental health first aid for about three years and says after being impacted by a family member dying from suicide in April, she feels compelled to help. "
Faith Lutheran Church in Bismarck offers mental health first aid training KX-CBS News, 3 October 2021."
So "caring" and "teaching mental health first aid" and quoting scripture, all the while embezzling $80K. Nice game, eh?
I'm not surprised. Ukraine, before the war, was a poor man's Epstein's Island.
His "love" may 18 know but how old are the children? I bet the oldest is at least three.

Three out of four for mommy.
The ELCA view on baby-killing: “This church opposes ending intrauterine life when a fetus is developed enough to live outside a uterus with the aid of reasonable and necessary
technology.”
Before viability, the baby is expendable.

Like the Church in Pergamum, the ELCU allows sins such as immorality and heresy.
Another denomination to avoid.
Those of us who fought during the Cold War WON’T be praying for Putin...
I am glad you don’t give up.
I think it’s amazing that there are some people on FR who do not think we should even be able to encourage the Ukrainians to resist Putin.
You are doing good work.

Thank you for your kind words.
Secret:
When I read some of the false attack comments, Luke 23:34a is a great help to focus me: “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”[a]
Directs me to ignore the insults and have compassion for them.
“Those of us who fought during the Cold War WON’T be praying for Putin...”
True that!
None should pray for or to Putin.
That is the exactly right mindset.
As a Christian, I encounter this problem often.
Keep up the good work.
The communist soldier using charity sites to fund his war
EXCERPTS:
Fighting continues in eastern Ukraine, as pro-Russian separatists battle Ukrainian government forces. More than 10,000 people have died since the conflict erupted in April 2014, and recently a rebel leader declared a state called "Malorossiya" (Little Russia) in Donetsk.
Among the separatists are a number of Westerners, drawn to the country by the conflict and financing their adventures using charity crowdfunding websites - sometimes in apparent violation of website rules and Ukrainian laws.
One of the most prominent is Russell Bentley, a Texas native who describes himself as a pro-Russian communist.
. . .
Bentley . . . works, he says, as an "information warrior" - producing regular pro-separatist propaganda videos on the Ukrainian war.
Bentley is affiliated with the Essence of Time movement - a Russia-based communist group which seeks to create "USSR 2.0", involving the break-up of Ukraine. Bentley's videos are hosted on the group's YouTube page, which has 25,000 subscribers.

Thank you for drawing attention to this issue.
In regards to who to direct your funding, as President Reagan said: “Trust but verify.”
Thanks for this detail. Very interesting.
