Thanks for the reply. I don’t have another computer.
You can install a "virtual machine" (VM) on your current computer. Just search around for a free VM that works on your platform. For all intents and purposes, the VM will look like a different computer to anyone else.
If you are trying to sign up as a new account, but with your old email address, then they are probably blocking you based on that email address.
*******
Thanks. I tried a new email address.
You can also ask ChatGPT to rewrite your stuff using a different style. It won’t come out so weird that way.
Note: VMs are not perfect. They can be penetrated. Seriously doubt some hobby site would have the skills necessary to do so.
Good idea exept I don’t trust ChatGPT. :^)
Welcome. Trying to help without getting too technical on you. :^)
Thganks for all the help, piytar. I might try a VM if I think I want to go to all the trouble just to access the website.
That’s what I don’t understand. This little hobby website has the savvy to keep identifying me after the clearing of cookies, and the VPN.
Rod Smart.
I want to thank all who responded to my post. There’s so many replies, if I missed thanking you personally I’m sorry. Never expected such a quick and great response.
Welcome again. Just curious — how did you clear the cookies? The tools built into most browsers frankly suck.

...and set up the account from a different location. You might be blocked by IP address. Such blocks are usually only on the setup.
Go to your buddy's house and connect using his computer. Log in to a browser he doesn't use (Choosing from Edge, Firefox, Brave, or Chrome). Set up the new account (using a new email address). Log out.
Go home and log in to the new account from your home computer.
The wealth of knowledge and willingness to help by Freepers is just simply amazing. Something you would be hard to find on most other sites (although some of the coding, math, and physics ones are good) let alone leftist dominated sites.
I can’t do that “always” because the service I have to use won’t do it if my VPN is on. They have to identify where I am.
Is it a paid or free VPN?
You should always have a free VPN.
Also, I recommend running spybot and CCleaner to clear all unnecessary junk (and trackers) from your PC.
I just used the tools on my Brave browser. Since you’ve been so helpful, maybe you can answer another question. How are logins and passwords stored? After clearing my cookies, history and cache, I had to log back in on Free Republic. But when I put my cursor in the field to type my name, it was still there in the dropdown menu. I thought clearing cookies would have also cleared that,
Have you considered reaching out to the administrator of the photography site and apologize? Explain your interest in photography and promise to stick to that subject?

No, I think I burned my bridges with him/her.Not a nice person.
1) Change browsers.
2) Change the "do not track" setting in your browser. If it is "ON", turn it "OFF". And vice-versa
3) Install a new font to your computer.
4) Change the screen resolution to a different value.
5) Change the font scaling from 100% to some other value.
6) Remove or add a new plug-in to your browser.
Changing any one of these items may change your computer "fingerprint" and make it look like a different computer to the trackers.
As others have mentioned, you also need to clear all cookies from your browser.
I used to be up on this kind of thing but as I recall the MAC address isn’t passed along through routers; it’s broadcast locally only. So unless a web site were to run some sort of script on your device to retrieve it, it won’t be visible to them. Is this no longer the case?
