(((PING!)))This is the 133rd article Zeepers have posted on eggs in RuZZia!
To be added to the zeeper follies pinglist, ping me bro... we need laughter!
“And yet every Russian blogger and YouTuber I’ve seen recently shows pictures of these fancy Russian megastores that would put a Super Wal-Mart to shame with packed shelves and all kinds of variety. Admittedly the people that do these videos are likely wealthier and living and big cities so things might be different in small villages, but from what I’ve seen Russia seems to be doing quite fine.”
Potemkin villages.

It's not just the prices, it's that the shelves are still bare. I live in a small city in the Mohawk Valley of NY State. I can never get what I want from one store. I always have to go to at least one or two more stores. The Walmart here is pitiful with all the empty shelves. They did a recent renovation, and had a grand opening in November. All they did was move things around, and shelves are still empty. Why have a grand opening if you can't get products to fill the shelves?
Another great laugh from the Freeper Russian Egg Police.
Egg-zactly. You can add me.
#28 - LMAO
Their advantage is that because of the cultural memory of 'lack of' from the past, people don't panic when these minor pinches do happen. It's more like 'Ehh, we will be ok without eggs for a while, they will be back'.
Done bro!!
Maybe it has something to do with the brutal Russian winters? My chickens pretty much go dormant during the winter.
I’ve worked on three different research farms, two chicken farms (only broilers, no layers) and a fish farm.
We always had plenty of feed, but that was before we had any supply chain issues.
Perhaps the problem Russia has right now is related to the droughts they’ve had in Europe, some of the worst since the middle ages.
If you remember two summers ago eggs were expensive during the drought. The dryness even caused some of the hay for animals to grow some sort of fungus. The woman who teaches my kid horseback riding had problems getting clean hay.
I want to start seeing hourly updates from them about Babushka Oleindsky Naboskarinskyra Veliskpinskyrya's blocked kitchen sink in Little Prinoskinposkankyna Oblast as evidence of RuZZZZZia's imminent collapse.
Oh man! You’re killing me! Bwahahaha!
