Great, great. I’ve said this here before, but one of the biggest disappointments to me is that Victor Buono did not live long enough to play Nero Wolf. He would have been perfect!

I’d have to rewatch it. A few of them were pretty bad.
I watched an episode last night (Penguin) that featured Ted Cassidy (Lurch) coming to the window as B&R climbed the Batrope. 🦇

You are absolutely right! He played a beatnik in a Perry Mason episode, and was great. Very, very good actor.

I liked King Tut because of the way Victor Buono really hammed it up in the role. I liked the way Buono - as a supposedly mild-mannered college professor when normal - always shifted back and forth between an imperious Pharaoh voice and a Brooklyn gangster accent.

The two villains on the big screen version that come to mind were Denny Devito’s penguin. There was some made up controversy in the media as I recall that his character with the hook nose was an antisemitic representation. Also, ore governor Arnold as Mr Freeze. Both twins made pretty convincing villains
