I watched a speeding FedEx panel truck fly over an intersection - a leap of about 60 feet.
From start to finish:
“That truck does not appear to be slowing down for the Stop Sign . . .”
The truck completely missed all the traffic.
The lay of the land and road grade were in the truck’s favor.
All eyes on the truck . . . “and he made it!”

only explanation is the image in post 41 is taken after impact.
A faulty processing unit could have randomly commanded the cruise control system to enter into a rogue-ish mode where a previously established cruising speed can be temporarily overridden in order to bring the speed up or down and reset by the driver to a new cruising speed. If the driver never establishes that new cruising speed, an uncontrolled sustained acceleration of the vehicle may occur. This is just an “educated” guess on my part and if I’m even close then I’d like to hear what Bentley Motors LTD would have to say about it.
Okay this is getting very weird. I don’t know what happened but it’s certainly not what they’re telling us.

The victims were identified Friday by Niagara Falls Police as Grand Island residents Kurt P. Villani, 53, and his wife, 53-year-old Monica Villani.
(So there was a Kurt in his 70s who died last year, this one who died Wed. and a Kurt in his 20s who played minor league
hockey)
