Taildragger landing gear...you never see that on big planes nowadays You have to "fly it" on the Taxiways in order to manuever it.
The pilot and co-pilot can "slide the window open" and stick their head out for a good look without ripping their face or head off in flight.

No. Ricky owned a DC-3. I was driving on I-30, Little Rock to Dallas area, when his plane went down just East of where we were in TX. They were flying from LR to Dallas to do a gig that night, but they chose to free-base in the plane during a huge ice storm. I think that was New Years Day.
