I don’t feel sorry for these gays. Anyone buying an EV has to know that eventually the batteries will have to be replaced at an exorbitant price. On a smaller scale, I had to replace the batteries in my golf cart after 7 years for $1100. Some golf cart owners around here only got 3 years. Not to mention, golf carts can’t be left outside and need a garage.

From WA, now live in FL.
We get more rain in 15 min in FL than WA gets in a week, but it stops after 15 min and is sunny again. In WA, it is intermittent wipers all week and only patches of occasional blue.
Rains so hard here that I-95 drops below 30 in about 300 feet and you can barely see in front of the car, even with wipers going at full speed. More like God dumping a bucket of water on you than rain.

Driving thru a 3” deep puddle, at a high speed, will nicely drench the engine compartment and everything underneath the car’s body.

Why do they bother to mention that the owners of the broken Tesla are H O M O S E X U A L S?Exactly! I mean, if you’re driving an EV it’s rather assumed. Redundant.

After finally getting to speak to a manager, he told me it had water in it due to the fact the weather in Scotland has been so bad,” Well, there you go. It's not that the reliability of EVs is highly questionable. The real culprit here is climate change!

My son had a RAM pickup truck that got wet and was totaled.
He was on a dirt road and drove over a patch of ice that turned out to be a four foot deep sinkhole.
This occurred fifteen minutes after he lost his job when his employer went bankrupt.

because every time it rained (in particular the November rainy season), the car would stall.
Showing my age...folks had a '74 Dodge Dart that would stall after driving through puddles. The key was, if you heard water hitting the wheel well, you were toast. Wait 10 minutes, not 9:59, it would start again. Worked like clockwork.

$20K, huh?
Looks like the virtue signalling hobby can indeed be an expensive endeavor.

Our first car was a Mazda diesel that got 45mpg. We would sometimes drive it to Tijuana for cheaper fuel. We sold it at 200,000 miles when we moved to a colder climate.
It broke down once in Flagstaff. I thought we might have an issue when the Mazda dealer said “I didn’t know Mazda made a diesel.” Since it was near 100,000 miles he offered to change the timing belt.
Unfortunately it was one notch off and it turned into a putt-putt. It barely made it over the mountains to San Diego and got only 15mpg. To their credit, the Flagstaff Mazda paid for the cost to get it re-fixed properly.
