Pretty weak study...even worse reporting. Cold viruses cause inflammation...did they look at pregnant women who caught colds colds and the “autism” % in their offspring. That might show a better link than medical records which showed the use of antiinflammatories.
Almost CLICKBAIT article. Very close.

The incidence of reported spectrum disorders and schizophrenia has nothing to do with the topic of this article or the underlying publication. The news here is indicia that inflammation during critical developmental periods may be an efficient cause, which is contrary to established thought that “genetics” plays nearly a determinative role. Very interesting.

I saw a study which indicated that the rise in autism diagnoses was highly correlated with the rise in organic food sales.

This, of course, was due to the fact that both the of these measures increased over time. It is yet another example of the axiom that correlation does not prove causation.

My friends got a new baby boy. When they showed me his vaccine list...I was stunned. There were so many...at least 8...part of the requirements is due to a heterogenous population in the city, and the constant traveling of people. All kinds of wonderful parasites, viruses, and bacteria out there.
He was suffering from a rash which seemed to bother him only at night....maybe no connection, but the kids only 6 months old... that’s a lot of immunity reactions going on at such a young age.

There is simply too much money involved to ever seriously and honestly investigate this. Assuming, of course, that there already is scientific data on this buried deep, deep somewhere.

There is still no solid, proven connection between vaccines and autism. Again, follow the money.

Yep. As another poster above pointed out, how can we ever know? There is no control group. Every kid HAS to be vaccinated with a RIDICULOUS number of vaccines.

And yes, if you follow the money, it is nigh unto impossible for anyone in the research establishment to question the wisdom of Pharma or the CDC or local governments about the obvious vaccine-autism link. We all just witnessed what happened to those who spoke up in protest of the awful and harmful mRNA vaccines they made for Covid.

I will say this: The number of autistic, CNS-injured, mentally retarded, non-socializable kids has increased tremendously... I'm not at all surprised by the exponential- or factorial- increase shown in the graph above. It lines up with what I have seen in 30 years of practice.

When I have a series of kids in the clinic on any given day, it would surprise me NOT to have one or more of them, or one or more siblings (they come along to the doctor) be 'autistic'.

It is alarming. It screams for a high-level, prioritized investigation, right now.

But, because of the incentives of Pharma, and their bribed goons in government, nothing will happen.

The 'virologists' and 'vaccine experts' are just crazy and/or greedy monomaniacs who would have us all get vaccinated daily if they could arrange it.

“Yeah...someone should track # of vax required of children with that chart...bet correlation is high.”

I don’t have a copy, but I read of a direct correlation between required childhood vaccinations and the rise of autism. It also noted the Amish, who do not participate, do not have the instances of autism that others have. Coincidence?

I know someone with 3. All of her children are autistic and she was born with birth defects. 2 are completely non-verbal. Getting a diagnosis can grant you some concessions especially in education. It’s like winning the lottery. I’m ASD and all we got was beat up.

Kids also want to be designated LGBT because “Pride” and protections that come with it. Any assault can be labeled a Hate Crime and guarantees prosecution.

It is NOT ‘news’.

Those of us accused of wearing ‘tin hats’ have been parroting inflammation for decades. Past researchers have reached the same conclusion but were professionally persecuted for daring to mention any relation to vaccines.

Frankly, my research has concluded that medical orthodoxy - including psychology - is largely at fault, coupled with the cattle mentality of doctors’ visits in this era (and it’s getting worse every year).

The problem I’ve cited is the lack of $$ for hard research, i.e., the fact that - aside from genetic causes (a distinct minority imho) - the inflammation has an external cause.

Personally, I believe there are a handful of synergistic causes - INCLUDING the vaccine SCHEDULE - but we’ll never know how parents can avoid the landmines without removing bias from the research grant approval process.

If this study paves the way for more research dollars toward infant inflammation causes, I’ll concede a ‘news’ aspect.

But I have good reason to be highly skeptical.

Parents and kids are trying to get the Autism diagnosis. Even in the workplace, it can get you some concessions like noise-canceling headphones and mental health days.

The Amish do many things correctly.

No vaxxes is one of them.

No high tech is another one.

The focus on a lot of time outside, a lot of exercise is another one.

A strong social structure is another one.

What science would do (if it was not just stupid propaganda) is tease out the impacts of each of these on both severe and moderate autism.

I suspect all of these are relevant factors to a greater or lesser degree.

How many inflammatory chemicals/compounds are in infant formula -the default for our kids these days as motherhood continues to be d valued in the face of billions for pharma/Ag giants.

“ But the mechanisms behind this link have been unclear.”

Because we can’t mention the link between all the childhood vaccines and autism.

Part of the reason could be that women are having children much later in life.

I married at 27. We tried immediately for children but our first successful pregnancy didn’t happen until 34. My middle child arrived at 35. My final child was a surprise at 40. We lost one early and another between my middle and last.

I knew my youngest child would have issues even before birth. He had a two-vessel umbilical cord, typically an indication of severe genetic abnormalities. We didn’t care. God made him for us and we loved him, so abortion was never an option. He’s a high functioning autistic with NCCAH.

The later the children come, the greater the likelihood of degraded eggs.

I am not disagreeing with you that inflamation is by far an underapreciated, denied or outright mendatiously misrepresented cause of disease. The finding here is narrow but significant. My brother is schizophrenic and an asthmatic, which caught my eye here.
