USA, for better or worse, has to play a major role in the world outside its' borders. This is not 1900 anymore, or even 1940.

Russia/Soviet Union has been involved in numerous border conflicts in the past 75 years, to include Czechoslovakia, Hungary, East Germany, Afghanistan, Chechnya, Georgia, and Ukraine (2014). Why is it good idea for the US to be directly involved in this Russian conflict and not all the others?

You've made a total mess of this situation. The United States is much weaker now than it was two years ago.

“Tending to our own affairs” is practically a DEFINITION of isolationism.

What happened 32 years ago that negated Moscow’s cultural imperative to overpower its’ neighbors? Nothing. The Soviet Union was just a chapter in that narrative. Like an evil Phoenix, it is rejuvenating itself under Putin.

If you want to “tend to our own affairs”, put your evangelism to work stopping the profligate waste of money on windmills and solar and EVs and (God help us) pipelines to transport CO2. Never mind the destruction of hydropower dams. Dig into all the COVID money that was stolen. Claw back the COVID money that’s being held by states and cities, earmarked for everything BUT COVID relief. Start analyzing the wildly inflated prices of care being demanded by medical monopolies, with the connivance of the Government.

I think maybe all this hatred for Ukraine is just a leftist distraction, to keep the public from thinking about the above. Right out of Dictatorship for Dummies, that would be.

Russia has been very clear. The areas from Donbas to Crimea will be repatriated back into Russia and that it has always been part of Russia. Russia will never give up these lands again. They speak Russian in these areas and for all practical purposes, they are Russian.

This endless money pit of a war must stop. Russia has won its territories back. Let it go. Stop the needless killing of young people. They are not throwaways.

Americans are sick of war. We send billions to Ukraine while Maui residents and American homeless need that money for food and housing. We spend billions to house illegals that must be deported ASAP instead of taking care of our own people.

This isn’t rocket science. Demonrats and rinos must be purged from all elected offices and government. They are systematically destroying the USA intentionally with malice.

C’mon, Chad, don’t be a dolt. We’ve had decades of foreign misadventures and spent trillions of dollars, and for what ? Meanwhile, the United States was being undermined bit by bit by the forces of darkness, now to the point that there isn’t a single aspect of our federal government that hasn’t been completely and thoroughly corrupted or weaponized against normal citizens.

The Ukraine is a convenient excuse being used by the media/Derp State/Demonrats and their allies (I’m looking at you, Traitor Mike Pence) to distract the public from Washington’s epic level corruption.

It’s the hatred for Russia that is the distraction. Russia isn’t a Communist state anymore, the only people they pose a threat to are globalist oligarchs pushing “Big Homo.” They’re a Christian nation, they stand against perversion (the same perversion Zelensky is pushing in the middle of a civil war !) and aren’t about vilifying White people. Sadly, America in its current incarnation of degeneracy is a bigger threat to humanity. We’ve just about managed to switch places with the Soviet Union in 32 years.

Our playing the world’s policeman is over, because this cop on the beat is dirty as hell, and it’s time we cleaned up our own act. We have no moral authority to lord over the rest of the world.

Vance, 28 other lawmakers say Biden Ukraine funding request ‘makes a mockery’ of Congress
Republicans demand transparency and accountability
Seek accounting for security, economic and humanitarian aid to Ukraine

US ‘cannot afford’ the level of support being given to Ukraine: Kevin Roberts

Ahead of Ukrainian President Zelenskyy’s visit to Washington, D.C., a group of 29 Republican lawmakers has vowed to oppose further funding for Ukraine.

In a scathing letter to the White House, six senators and 23 House members said they reject President Biden’s request for $24 billion in additional security, economic and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

The lawmakers railed against the Biden administration for a lack of clarity over how the more than $100 billion in funding Congress has already approved has been spent.

And they said Biden’s demand for an increase in defense spending on the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative 15 times greater than what Congress authorized “makes a mockery” of the legislative process.

“The vast majority of Congress remains unaware of how much the United States has spent to date in total on this conflict, information which is necessary for Congress to prudently exercise its appropriations power,” the letter states. “It is difficult to envision a benign explanation for this lack of clarity.”

The letter was spearheaded by Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, and Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas. It was addressed to Shalanda Young, the director of the White House Office of Management and Budget.

There’s already been trial balloons in “the media” about sending military advisors to Ukraine. First step in our next Democrat created Vietnam.
