There are a lot of silly things said on this forum lately. This is one of the silliest.

BRICS is fine for inter-country trade. But in terms if being a reserve currency it is pretty weak. China manipulates their currency. The ruble in a free fall. Oil still trades in dollars and the top economies in the world trade in dollars.

Russia is no economic power. They are China’s bitch these days.

No, the BRICS are knocking out the dollar any time soon.

Yeah & the economists saying it are blathering idiots. There is nothing trust worthy about our currency anymore. It is not backed by anything of value, and the more we keep spending without any consideration of the consequences is only bringing the dollar down at an ever increasing pace.

You have pretty much been wrong about everything, starting with your hair on fire concern for Covid. Your support for a war of a nation that is far less superior than the one it is taking on.

You think we are the same nation than was victorious in 2 world wars. We should be, but we squandered that away.

Not only have our men become less manly, they are destroying our military from within on multiple fronts. We have lost every war since, because we have had many generations of piss-poor leadership. That is why we are having real problems in recruiting.

To add to the problems:

We are 33 trillion dollars in debt. Our economy & middle class, which was this nation's strength, is crumbling. Good paying jobs are being lost either to out sourcing, outo importing those who will do it cheaper.

We are allowing an uncontrolled invasion which is only accelerating the drain of resources, and you act like we are still king of the hill. But supporting Ukraine is only exacerbating the problems of this nation.

I guess we will find out who is right, and believe me when I say I hope it's you. But I think that is pure hopium on my part, because this is unsustainable.
