Perhaps they can get together in Heaven and sing a few chords.

I had no idea he was still alive. I had cassettes of his singing way back in the 70’s. Really loved those ballads, like New World in the Morning.

“I remember buying The Last Farewell.”
What a song. He was asked once why he thought it was such a big hit. His answer: the French horns.

French horns? Are you sure? I mean how did they make it all the way through the battle without surrendering?

I’m so sorry to hear this, but at least he had a long life with great success. I loved his work, especially the Last Farewell.

“The French Horns” made the song The Last Farewell glow, he was right about that.

His Christmas album was a staple at our house for 40 years.

Yes, he was an excellent singer, ProCon. Maybe another “death notice” song for this Friday or Saturday... :-/

I figured he had already passed years even over a decade ago and I figured he would be about 100 if he were still alive.
Boy was I off. I do like that song though. RIP. I think I rememeber infomercials about buying his hits. or maybe that was slim whitman.......don’t remember exactly.
