The whole thing is very confusing...
Do like one hour of reading on the case and its pretty clear they got the right guy.
How can you be sure? There were a lot of troubling things regarding his conviction at least that is how it was portrayed.
I cancelled Netflix ages ago. They haven’t followed up yet on the case.
His nephew for example was heavily coerced in that “confession” by the Blue (cops).
I thought that was terrible
Exactly. They got the right guy. Her cell phone went right up to his wrecking yard property where she was showing up to photograph a car for sale. Phone goes dark. Found her bones in the retard’s burn pit. Found her car on the property with his blood on her seats. His nephew confessed that they had done it.
Total BS that he was innocent.
Troubling things according to leftist lawyers and Hollywood. Would you want your daughter to get in an Uber Avery was driving?
Guilty as homemade sin.
How did her bones get in his burn barrel?
The nephew could not have been guilty and the video of his incredibly coerced confession is one of the most heartbreaking things I have ever seen.
As for Steven I don’t know. But that dumb teen boy with no counsel and no parent being led and led and led and bullied until he finally said what they wanted to hear was brutal.
“How can you be sure?”
Because there’s too much evidence against him and zero evidence against anyone else.
Perhaps, but even if you toss the confession, he’s the only suspect and there is plenty of evidence to convict him.
His own attorney set him up to confess.
Avery had a $33 million judgment against the city/county. Avery was set up to take the fall for a murder he did not commit. No evidence that he did it. Cops searched the bedroom and the shop numerous times. Didn’t find anything during the first 8 searches; even jackhammered the shop floor and didn’t find any blood evidence. Didn’t find any blood evidence in the bedroom, either. After 8 searches of the bedroom, they found a key under/behind a bed-side table. Problem is there was no DNA evidence on the key or key fob. How does that happen.
There was also tampering with the blood evidence in the evidence room.
The woman’s car was found in a public accessible location at the back of the lot. If Avery had done it, he would have had the car crushed.
The city/county had 33 million reasons to frame him. The jurors also knew the taxpayers will liable for paying that damage award.
I find myself in agreement with your reasoning but am interested in Candace’s take.
As for the nephew I can’t believe his “confession” was upheld. No standard at all.
LOL, I watched that video. The confession was not coerced. He was never threatened at all. Nobody raised a voice. They just pointed out placed that his story had changed or didn’t fit what he already said. He never once claimed he was not involved, had no idea etc. He just slowly told the truth.
The truth is simple. The guy raped her, had his nephew do the same. They killed her and tried to get rid of the body. The plan was to also crush her car but they didn’t get it done.
All these people acting like they were innocent? So who killed her, and how did her car get into his yard and her bones get into the burn pit? How did her cell and camera get there. Nice hard working 25 year old murdered, and a couple of lesbos at NYU film school made a movie.
They did it.
I won’t argue the case with you. I saw total coercion of a mentally deficient teen. You saw a confession.
Of course I don’t know who did it. Old boyfriend and roommate did some coverup and message erasing. The cops wanted Steven back in prison. He embarrassed them. That’s how I see it.
