The lowest ticket price in Miami went from $29 to over $300 per game, Apple TV signed up over 300,000 people to their streaming service which broadcasts their games and the teams merchandise shop shut down due to all the traffic, he did in fact put a lot of butts in the seats.
“They moved back to LA a couple of years ago..”
Probably been about that long since I started ignoring the NFK after the caperdick fiasco.
I wish I could say I feel your pain.
I don’t. MOVE!
Having family real close to me is important, but I get out of “Dodge” if I don’t like it.
It always irritates me when I read excuses like being close to family is used.
Or I can’t leave my job.
I left after twenty years at Boeing to go to a job in Hawaii. I spent my whole life doing moving and I still am close to family and retired at age 55.
I can be slamming down beers with my only remaining brother
in less than 24 hours and for under $500
He is in Florida and I’m in Hawaii.
Those bullshit excuses don’t work with me.
If you are a farmer I understand that argument,
but for a tradesman or professional working for a wage I think you are full of shit.
I'd prefer the process is cleaned up. You can't run away from corrupt politicians forever.
Interestingly the State of California announced that it now can balance its budget...... 🧐
Good, now deliver
Inter Miami is at the bottom of the table. It will be interesting to see if they can go on a run to make the playoffs.
They actually play in Fort Lauderdale. It’s on the same site as the former Lockhart Stadium, I used to go there to watch The Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the NASL.
I realize that supposedly they are building a brand new modern soccer stadium in downtown Miami, which should be nice.
With the Latin American population in South Florida, now that Messi is in Miami, soccer should be very popular.
I believe though that stadium won’t be ready until 2025.
The logical place would be Hard Rock Stadium, but the owner of the stadium is a rival, so he won’t allow them to play there.
It would be normally but even with Messi soccer stadiums need to be smaller and have their own place.
It’s like back in the 70s when multipurpose stadiums were the norm, they all died off and replaced with dedicated stadiums to each sport that tailor to each sport an their fans.
Yes the soccer only venues are nice.
I wish I could say that about FC Dallas stadium. For some reason they have one side of it uncovered, and it’s unbearable in the heat.
Shoot them randomly.
it is called 4GW.
No team is worth $262.5 Million contract let alone one person.
Hype pays good now days.
People who you would like to play poker with.
It would be interesting to see the financial statements, to see the profitability of the sports teams.
if the teams generate enough revenue to pay these enormous contracts, then that’s just capitalism.
Yep. The NFL is the best run league in all sports. They didn't pull a "bud light" unlike the NBA which isn't as popular as it was in the Jordan Era (but they are popular in China now).
Don’t believe teams generate enough revenue most is from networks and sponsors advisers .........................
DON’T EVER GO TO VEGAS!
NFL suspends Broncos defensive end Eyioma Uwazurike indefinitely for gambling on games
Cable prices to go up. More people will cut the cord.
He went to Oregon, same as Dan Fouts.
