Kids who suffer from GD due to an endocrine issue usually pass the dysphoria stage after they become adults and puberty ends. Only those who are still battling dysphoria in their 20s are incurable.
At that point, they are adults and can make their own decisions.
You are mistaken.
For a small segment of the population, it is an endocrine issue (sometimes curable, sometimes not) or a genetic disorder.
The number of actual trans people is a tiny percentage of the population. The number of pretenders/fakers/confused is ridiculously high.
My child is in the first category; incurable endocrine disorder. She scored in the top 1% of the STAAR exams.

There is NO, zero, zilch, nada, evidence that “gender-affirming” treatment in any way, shape, form, manner or fashion, reduces in the least the probability that the child will be either more or less likely to commit suicide, depending on whether or not the “affirmation” is carried out. That is simply not quantifiable.
Left to their own devices, or with some REAL psychological therapy, and not just mumbo-jumbo pseudoscientific babble, virtually all children will eventually outgrow this urge to physically transform their bodies to conform to some fruit-loops medical practitioner’s idea of what is “right”.
Once undertaken, the physical transformation leaves the victim mutilated, sterile, and with a lifetime dependency on specialized medical treatment, rendering them an unusual burden on family and society for the duration of their lives, for very little gain in productivity or satisfaction, if any at all.
The only “transgender” change possible is to change a biological male into a neuter, or a biological female into a neuter. It is beyond the capability of medical intervention today to make a full transition of male into female, or female into male. It may NEVER be possible, as it would mean altering just about every one of the billions of somatic cells that make up the human body so that XX becomes XY, or XY becomes XX.

Has any reporter asked Levine why European countries have stopped treating minor children with hormones, puberty blockers and surgery? That they treat their psychological care first? And they say USA has maltreatment of transgender-identifying kids?

Gender-affirming care should mean treatment that helps kids be comfortable in the bodies they’re born with, whether it’s psychological counseling or medication to correct hormonal or brain chemistry issues, or both. Going the surgical route is like discovering that your car is running rough because some diesel fuel got mixed in and deciding to pull the engine and modify it to run on diesel rather than simply flushing the diesel and putting the proper fuel in the tank.

Believe it or not, I worked in the same building and crossed paths w this very messed up, sick individual.
