President Trump treated people like they were/are government... He did not seek Congress to hide anything ... I just cannot imagine any cause that would require a governor's travel to be sealed. You will never be as 'good' a person as President Trump, in spite of his many flaws .... and for that matter neither will your Saint Desantis... Saint Desantis has NOTHING to offer this nation ... all he has is his need to be somebody. So he slips around the globe pretending he is somebody and some of the masses hail him like he is 'Mary'... It is revolting to watch the deification of this one term governor.
Both Ryan and Rove have been hyping DeSantis and trashing Trump since, and that includes many of Trump's candidates BEFORE Election Day.
Many of those candidates needed RINO Senate approval.
Anyway I believe Trump has now learned how deep the Deep State is.

DeSantis people were knocking on doors and handing out literature in my neighborhood on Saturday.
Several months ago, a big DeSantis supporter on FreeRepublic, who I don't see around anymore tried to do a similar thing to Trump.
The poster claimed that Trump raised money to fight the steal in 2020 and then transferred that money over to his presidential run.
I guess you would call that DeSantis poster leftie-like, right?

DeSantis supporters are not judging him and Trump using the criteria you are using.
There is not broad consensus that DeSantis is a deceptive liar.
There is not broad consensus that DeSantis is an apparent criminal regarding these campaign funds.
You are judging DeSantis and the entire situation using criteria other than the criteria others are using, for judging the GOP nomination.
If others start using these criteria, there will be more productive conversations surrounding the idea of people thinking DeSantis is a liar and all that.

I don’t see how the claim could be true, considering the fact that there are rules and laws regulating campaign donations and their use.

His actions with the campaign funds is clearly illegal, and what he hopes to do, is get a deadlock with the FEC, so he gets to spend the $85-100 million for his presidential run.
