Our grandson who just got home from college for the summer, U OF ALABAMA, stopped by this morning and we just had the Budweiser conversation. No one is drinking BUD and won’t be caught dead holding a Bud, or Mic can of beer for fear of being called “OUT”.
I have copied and pasted this list in the notes section on my phone, for when I go do the shopping. So far, my husband has been enjoying trying new beers. Not that he drank BL before, but he did have Kona, Corona, Stella, and Shock Top in his rotation.
There are a lot of smaller companies whose beer he enjoys now.
I’m growing used to reading labels now. My smart phone has become a very handy device to look up who owns a company and if they have a DEI statement on their websites.
I’m tired of having the woke policies shoved down my throat, and often times companies are sly about it. BL’s big mistake was gifting its beer to a loud mouth drama queen who mocks real women. I can’t tolerate that cr@p anymore. I’ve so had it.
My dollars, my choice.
We live on the Gulf Coast, right under Alabama.
Memorial Day weekend is a major holiday and the unofficial start of Summer tourist season.
Bud Light usually has big displays on the beaches and in all the surrounding convenience stores and grocery stores.
It will be interesting to see what happens this year............................
I used to drink Michelob when I was a teenager. But other than that I don’t generally buy AB products. Glad to see they’re declining.
Keep tasting. My husband has found several that he likes. Sierra Nevada, Sun King, Cigar City, Resin, to name but a few. He’s enjoying the variety instead of being stuck on just a couple.
Ladies and gentlemen, this right here is a sterling example of how a good wife cares for her husband.

It has gotten the label ‘Queer Beer’ and it will stick for decades. Nothing will erase that moniker..................

It’s like watching the crew rearrange chairs on the deck of the Titanic. They hit the hidden iceberg. The damage isn’t containable or remedied at this point.
Indeed. I primarily drink Shannon Irish Red. They are a tiny brewery just a few miles down the road.
A real apology would never work at this point. The only thing they can do now is to let BL go defunct and re-brand the swill in another year.
Nobody on the Right wants this beer anymore, and nobody on the Left wants this beer anymore, either. I’m hoping the boycott will hurt AB-InBev soon, too. Too big to fail? Not in my book. Pride goeth before the fall.
